Manuel's apartment is spacious with incredible views on downtown DF. If you want to stay in el centro, you won't do much better than this. Manuel is very helpful and responsive. We met him a couple of times during our 6 days there. The apartment is filled with natural light from large windows. Without blinds or curtains it gets light very early, be warned. Kafka the cat is little bit demanding. Earplugs would help for a full nights sleep.

This is a great place to stay in a fantastic location right in the middle of the city, just a few minutes walk to the Zocalo. The apartment is in a cool old bank building, and is very roomy, with great views out to the mountains. Jose Manuel was not there when we stayed, but his friend Rebecca was very friendly and helpful. A couple of things to be aware of: As the description says, the apartment shares an entrance and kitchen with the host. This means that the host has to walk through your apartment to get to the other apartment, and there is no door to your bedroom (so they're effectively walking through your bedroom). They were generally quiet and considerate, but this is something to keep in mind if you're looking for a private, romantic(!) place to stay. You might also want to bring an eye mask for sleeping if light bothers you as there are no curtains or blinds.

Jose's place a perfect location to visit the historic center, and we loved the art deco building and his (huge) loft. Being on the 5th floor with large windows overlooking the bustle of the city was truly a special experience. Only met Jose on arrival since he was away the four nights we stayed. Would have been nice to talk with him some more since he seemed very interesting, and his english is perfect which was nice for my girlfriend who has limited spanish. On the positive side though, even though he apparently is scarce typically even when he is in town,it was fun to feel free to prance around his wonderful place naked with the sun pouring in since we had this fabulous spot all to ourselves, except for Kafka the cat,who was very non judgemental and actually entertaining. Great experience

My name is José Manuel Espìnola I´m 27 years old and I love to travel as a local in the citys that I visit.
I do almost anything creative that gets in my way. I am a graphic designer, video director, photographer and art director of my own studio. brutal Inc

Im a music and aesthetics maniac so I like to explore the cities around that, I think that the most important thing to really know a place it´s around the music, arts and the young travelers that live there.
