My apartment is located in the hearth of Tuscany close to famous cities and medieval towns.
My accommodation is a perfect place to relax: this part of Tuscany offers amazing landscapes and free of charge hot springs (5 min away).
My apartment (50 sqm) is located in the small town of Iesa, on the second floor; it is renovated, cozy and comfortable. The accommodation consists of living room with fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and a double sofa-bed, one bedroom with a double-bed, one small bedroom with a single bed, bathroom and laundry room with a washing machine.
The flat is provided with a fast internet wi-fi connection.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: pans, dishes, dishwasher, automatic coffee machine, oven.
The bathroom is equipped with towels and hair-drier. All beds are equipped with sheets and blankets.
Interaction with Guests
Traveling is my passion, so I will be available to give tips (restaurants, places to visit etc.) to my guests. I will be happy to make a tourist route with you based on your wishes and time.
I will give you few tourist maps (electronic format): I like sending few "eletronic guides" because you can decide to print (what you need) or to save these documents in your smartphone to use when you are visiting Siena and Tuscany. Anyway at check-in I will also give you few brochures and booklets with tourists map and tourists info.
There is a supermarket (closed on wednesday), bar, restaurant and post office 50m away. You can find pharmacy, bank, shops in the closer town Monticiano.
Iesa is a small town tucked away among the famous green hills of Tuscany, 30km away from Siena. It is located in the heart of Tuscany so it's easy to visit so many tourists attractions: close to Iesa (max 1,5 hour with car) there are nice cities, sea, mountain, and wonderful places.
•Siena: UNESCO world heritage; city of Palio (hystorical horse race who take place twice a year 2nd July and 16th August).
•Florence: UNESCO world heritage.
•Pienza: UNESCO world heritage.
•Val d'Orcia: UNESCO world heritage.
•San Gimignano: UNESCO world heritage.
•Sea: Maremma, Castiglione della Pescaia, Argentario.
•Mountain Amiata: during the springs/summer you can go trekking: during the winter you can go skiing.
•Monteriggioni: medieval city mentioned by Dante in his famous Divina Commedia.
•Hot springs: Tuscany is so popular also because of hot springs. Near my apartment there is Petriolo hot springs that is so famous because of therapeutic water (about 42°C): here you can choose between public free hot springs (you can also swim during the night) or you can go to 2 different private hot springs spa. In particular:
-Free hot springs: Petriolo hot springs (5 minutes by car); Bagno Vignoni hot springs (60 minutes by car); San Filippo hot springs (70 minutes by car); Saturnia hot springs (80 minutes by car).
-Private hot springs spa: Petriolo; Petriolo spa resort (5 min by car); Rapolano Terme: Antica Querciolaia; San Giovanni (40 minutes by car). Bagno Vignoni: terme di Bagno Vignoni; Adler thermae. San Filippo: terme di San Filippo. Saturnia: terme di Saturnia spa & golf resort.
•San Galgano abbey: full of charm derelict abbey; 200m away you can find the Montesiepi chapel with its famous sword in the stone.
•Montalcino: so nice and characteristic town famous all over the world because of its popular wine Brunello di Montalcino. Near Montalcino you can also visit Sant'Antimo abbey.
•Crete senesi: The Crete Senesi refers to an area of the Italian region of Tuscany to the south of Siena. It consists of a range of hills and woods among villages and includes the comuni of Asciano, Buonconvento, Monteroni d'Arbia, Rapolano Terme San Giovanni d'Asso and Trequanda. The distinctive grey colouration of the soil gives the landscape an appearance often described as lunar (the best places are Chiusure and Monte Oliveto Maggiore abbey).
• Chianti: area between Siena, Florence and Arezzo famous all over the world for its wine. Brolio's castle is a nice spot to visit.
•Pitigliano: so nice and particular town built on old tuff.
•Massa Marittima: so nice old town.
•Farma river: a clean river so close to apartment (you can also go walking). During the summer you can have a bath (there are small beaches, a trampoline and liane to plunge into the water). You can also visit “canaloni", so popular water falls based on so old stones.

How to get here and how to get around
There is one bus from/to Siena (about 50 min.). Anyway is better to have a car to get around as you want. There is free parking 50m away from apartment.
The closest airports are Pisa, Florence and Rome. Once you get to airport is better to rent a car; anyway there are so many trains to Siena.
Iesa is surround by woods, so it's also the perfect place to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday in touch with the still unspoilt nature: you can just go walking or go to search for mushrooms (here you can find so many kind of mushrooms like you see in my picture).
Here is so populare horse trekking: there are so many riding staples who organize horse riding for beginners and experts.
Speaking about sport near Iesa ther is one nice golf course (Bagnaia); you can also play tennis, basketball or football.
In the woods near Iesa you can also find so many wild boars; in fact here wild boars' hunting is so popular.
