The place was really beautiful - the photos don't really do it justice. The bed was comfy. But the mosquitos! When we arrived Anne suggested that we keep the windows closed at night. Since we were only there in the evenings, we decided to not open the windows AT ALL despite the heat. Still my husband and I were both covered in bites. If she knew this was a problem it might have been nice to have a net for the bed or at least some sort of repellent. Also, wifi never worked!

Response from Anne:
I'am very sorry about the wifi , only with USA people had this problem, I never had wifi problems before. The provider worked in the street this week, probably there perhaps .... I had someone staying from Belgium this week and no problem at all on her Smartphone. I didn't know about the mosquito's before. Open the windows during the day and close them during the night might help.

We spent two weeks in Europe. And our most unpleasant experience was in Belgium ... we are foreign traveling and do not have phone service, it is logical that the way to communicate is through internet. She failed to understand. After settling in the room, the wifi was not working. she did not do enough to solve the problem. It is very important to have wifi, as it is the middle of cominicacion used his family as well as the organization of your trip. The room had some kind of animals that caused us allergies. the next day when we returned from a long day of sightseeing, to reach the room she told us that there was no hot water! but it did not matter that the weather was hot outside (15grados) she would not let us open the windows, mosquitoes entered. And much harassed me telling me that was sending me messages when I was on vacation and was not to be reading your messages and less could do without the internet. We not return, even this nice the room.

Response from Anne:
I tried to help and called the provider, of internet no one else had this problem before and after. I proposed to close the windows in the night for the mosquitos, not for me but for you sleeping there. Animals that caused allergies ? First thing I hear about this ! No respect and no airbnb travellers for me. These comments from you are not done here. Have a nice trip. Thanks

Anne's place is perfect and we had a wonderful time in Halle. The town is about ten minutes from Brussels by train and ten minutes to Hallerbos forest by bus (an hour walk). Anne was friendly and answered all of our questions. It's a great place to go and relax in after traveling for a bit and needing a break. We highly recommend staying here.

Always nice to be in the house of Anne! Surprises me with some special attentions: flowers on my birthday, strawberries from her garden... Thank you Anne!
