About this listing
This cozy apartment is located 70 meters from Avenida da Liberdade, the most fashionable area of Lisbon, but yet on a historic and quiet neighborhood. The apartment is in an historical building from the XIX century, fully refurbished in 2008.
This apartment is located in a historic area in a typical neighborhood, full of local commerce and restaurants. The house is in a small building from the XIX century that was fully refurbished in 2008. However, the refurbishment maintained lots of traces from historic construction and made visible the typical "pombaline cage" (the old wood and brick structure of the house). The apartment is located just 70 meters from Avenida da Liberdade, which most refer to as Lisbon's Champs Elisée. Lisbon historic downtown, the old historic center and Bairro Alto are all at a walking distance (15 to 20 minutes).
The bedroom is quite spacious.
Guests will have the house all for themselves, with bedroom, fully equipped kitchen (with cooking tools, dishes and cutlery), a bathroom and a large room with a dinning area (the table serves up to 8 people so feel free to invite friends to dine with you) and a living area and a work station.
The house has cable TV, Wi-fi, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer.
We will provide bedding sheets and towels.
Interaction with Guests
You will have the house for yourself, but we are always available and reachable and are delighted to give directions and indications about the city and whereabouts.
The house is located in a typical neighborhood, just close to Avenida da Liberdade. Although you are very close to Avenida da Liberdade, the street where the house is located is very very quiet.
You will find lots of restaurants, from typical neighborhood restaurants where you can get a meal for around 5 to 10€ to trendy and fashionable restaurants.
You are a walking distance from the city center, and you can either go by the fashionable Avenida da Liberdade or the typical Santa Marta and São José Streets.
Although you are a walking distance from most of the places where you will want to go, you can also take the subway, that is just 2 or 3 minutes from the house.
Other Things to Note
The apartment is on a second floor without elevator.
Very accommodating with check-in process. Fantastic introduction to the city. Pleasant experience.
We felt very welcomed by Ines - she explained where all the shops, restaurants and cultural sites were in Lisbon.
We loved Ines's beautiful, clean and welcoming apartment. Old world meets new world as her apartment has a mixture of walls that predate the 1755 earthquake k . Ines was a lovely hostess and a great ambassador of her city. Her recommendations were perfect and her communication with us throughout the process was great. Also, the bed was very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Amazing location, close and walkable to metro or to the city center. Location is on a quiet street. Didn't get to meet Ines in person, but met Riccardo. They were both very accommodating... We arrived early and they let us check in. And really good food recommendations.
El piso impresionante, en una ubicación inmejorable para conocer Lisboa.
Inés un encanto, siempre dispuesta a ayudar y facilitarte la estancia.
Si vuelvo a Lisboa tengo claro donde (website hidden) gracias Inés
