Flora was a fantastic host. She greeted my brother and I when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the apartment, highlighting various aspects. Mind you - Flora is a "super mom" since she just gave birth a few days prior and was still present to greet us and answer any questions we had. The apartment itself was clean, spacious. The only inconvenient part is the shower. It is quite narrow and for tall American sized boys over 6', it was a little tight but manageable. Overall, great experience, centrally located to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, and Camp Di Fiori. I walked all on Rome with never having to jump in a taxi or metro from the apartment. Great times.
Flora was a wonderful host. The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect you can walk to each and every one of the attractions (if you like walking) and there are lots of lovely restaurants nearby. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to family and friends.
What an amazing experience! We had some trouble finding the place at first, mostly our fault for being without a map, but Flora was extremely accommodating to meet us and guide us to the apartment. Upon arrival, we were given a tour of the place and suggestions for restaurants. A few to keep in mind: Gelataria del Teatro and Frigidarium for gelato (GDT is the best tasting and Frig is best value - 2 euro for a small (it's big) cone of great gelato. Da Tonino for Roman fare (cheap and amazing) and Roma Sparita for Cacio e Pepe. Also, bus stop (64, 40) right down the road as well as Carrefour Express.
Flora's apartment is situated in an ideal location near the heart of Piazza Navona. The Vatican is about a 10-15 minute walk and Piazza Navona, maybe 8 minutes walking. We spent 3 nights in the apartment and could've be more pleased. The kitchen is a huge plus to make some caffé or a quick lunch. Yes, the shower is small, but not a big deal at all. Also, the stairs are tight and slippery...just be careful. Neither were problems, but mentionable.
Overall the apartment is fantastic. Very secure and comfortable. The bed was (email hidden)ept peacefully. We would stay again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a convenient located apartment to accommodate a few days exploring Rome, this is a perfect option!
We had happy days in Roma hosted at Flora`s apartment. Mr. and Mrs. Paderi are very kind. The location is great in the historical center, but isn`t noisy. The apartament matches the ad, and hosts a couple with confort. The only critic to do is about the really small shower box. It wasn`t a problem for us, but it may be for some people.
The apartment is well located and away from the hustle and bustle. Apartment is clean and neat with a supermarket a stone throw away.. Flora is lovely and very responsive to our queries.. The only slight discomfort was the size of the toilet.. It's small and difficult to maneuver.. Would suggest a toiletries bag with a hook to store bath use.. Overall we had a wonderful stay!
The host was very welcoming .we loved the neighbourhood and found it very convenient
