Floras apartment is nice and comfortable, just as described. All utilities are functional and were used during our 4 day stay. Flora and her husband were very helpful and responsive, even accommodating our 3am arrival due to a flight cancellation. Great location close to all tourist attractions; we walked everywhere. We would recommend to others.
Flora made me feel very welcome - she is a very good communicator which helped to make my first introduction to Rome very easy. Flora was also kind enough to book a taxi for me to take me to the airport on my last day.
The description of the apartment on Airbnb is accurate, although it doesn't really convey how cosy and pleasant the apartment actually is.
The neighbourhood itself is wonderful, there antique shops and embassies in Via Giulia while in the much busier Corso Vittorio Emanuele II there are many, many good restaurants and shops. The apartment is also, as I found out, within easy walking distance of, for example, The Vatican and The Colosseum.
I very much enjoyed my stay in the apartment and would definitely want to return one day!
Nice clean place, close to everything we wanted to see. Flora is very responsive and provides recommendations for restaurant and grocery and the nearest historic site. This was our first time using AirBnB & first time to Rome, and everything worked out great. Thank you, Flora!
Our stay at Flora's apartment was very enjoyable. It was a little difficult to access, they are doing roadworks, but Flora did everything in her power to make sure we were comfortable. She just had a baby, so she totally rocks for all the time and effort she put in as a host. The apartment is well located, you can walk anywhere you want to go. We definitely recommend it.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Flora's apartment. She was very friendly when we arrived, showing us around the apartment and answering our questions. The apartment is exactly as it appears on the website. It was very clean/comfortable and the kitchen has all the necessities. The bed was quite cozy, but our only complaint would be that the shower was very small. My boyfriend (who is 6'1") had an impossible time trying to move around in it. I am a foot shorter than him and still struggled. However, despite the shower, I really would stay here again. The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to many things and a bus stop right across the street for places you cannot walk to. I would definitely recommend this apartment!
Flora was extremely attentive and gave a great overview of the place after greeting us at the front door. We also needed to arrive later than the normal check-in time, and she was very accommodating. We found the place clean, well-stocked with the basics (i.e. coffee, sugar, towels, sheets and soap) and quite secure. It’s also in an ideal location, as previously mentioned. We literally walked everywhere except to and from the airport. The locks/door handles could be a bit tricky, but we mentioned it to Flora while she was showing us around and she was really helpful in explaining. Every place has it's own little tricks. Also, Flora scheduled us a taxi ride on our way out of town – much appreciated!
The shower is a bit small, as previously mentioned, but what I’d add was that the water temperature was inconsistent – runs very hot or cold. Perhaps the hot water heater needs a looking over? Also, if you are a light sleeper I’d recommend ear plugs. The neighbors were great, and no one was especially noisy, but it is a city apartment and you could hear people coming/going from the courtyard during the night. (If you are not used to "city" noises/are a light sleeper, it can take a night or so to get used to.)
Friendly host, clean and secure apartment, and convenient locale – just about sums it up!
I'm sorry that our guests have heard noises, but it seems very strange that they heard noises in the night.
day is normal to hear noise in an apartment building.
the building is very quiet even is property located in a big city like Rome, and for sure the night no one has ever complained of having heard noises, or rather our guests have often appreciated that the apartment despite being in the heart of Rome was very would silently and quiet and this can be read in many book reviews.
Flora was a fantastic host. She greeted my brother and I when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the apartment, highlighting various aspects. Mind you - Flora is a "super mom" since she just gave birth a few days prior and was still present to greet us and answer any questions we had. The apartment itself was clean, spacious. The only inconvenient part is the shower. It is quite narrow and for tall American sized boys over 6', it was a little tight but manageable. Overall, great experience, centrally located to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, and Camp Di Fiori. I walked all on Rome with never having to jump in a taxi or metro from the apartment. Great times.
