Eileen's house is ideally located close to the centre of town, and she is a brilliant host. We enjoyed our chats with her very much and she even gave us a lift to town as we were headed in the same direction. The bed was comfortable if somewhat creaky, and there was a nice breakfast spread waiting for us when we left early in the morning.
Staying at Eileen's place was a pleasure! She is so helpful and sweet. We enjoyed her stories of Ireland in the morning along with breakfast. The room was nice. Eileen was very helpful and even dropped us off at the train when we were in a hurry to catch it. She always gave us great advice. It was only a short walk into the heart of the city from her place. We would definitely recommend her place to anyone staying in Cork. Thank you, Eileen, for making us feel part of the family during our stay!
Many thanks to Eileen for offering a hearty welcome and a warm, snug and cosy bedroom on an especially cold and frosty Irish November night!
The house is very close to the City center, you can walk just 10 minutes and you will be in the bus station and train station.
Eileen is very happy and friendly.
If you do not want to feel like a paying guest and want to feel warmth of home ? Then this is the right place. This house is very cozy and live. Not single dull moment I felt during my stay.
What to say about Eileen! A smiling lady, very kind & generous, talkative and great host. Very prompt in her communication. My best wishes for her future.
Eileen was a great host, very friendly and hospitable and very flexible regarding last minute booking arrangements and luggage storage. She gave some excellent recommendations on places a lone female could eat out comfortably on an evening which greatly added to the enjoyment of my trip. The room was large and clean with a mega comfy bed. The proximity to the city center with ample parking makes it an excellent choice for any visitor to this interesting and vibrant city
It was a nice stay, the welcome was good, the familly is young then we can speak engish a lot and Lauren (the daughter) maked up my daughtersfor Halloween. This B&B is near of the city center and the Dragon of Shandon society then we can seen the show. It was a good idea to celebrate Halloween in Cork.
The stay in Cork was absolutely wonderful and Eileen was such a sweetheart in providing us information and events that were happening in the city (we arrived near the end of the jazz festival). It was a lovely house and it was a pretty close walk to the center! She was very kind along with her children and we enjoyed some cuppa's for breakfast before adventuring!
