Other things to note
We are flexible on check-in and check-out times. However, if there's another party checking in on the same day you depart, or checking out on the same day your arrive, the check-in and out times are as follow:
Check-Out time: 12 PM
Check-In time: 1 PM or later.
Please note that we will need to photocopy your passport for mandatory police report upon check-in as required by the local/Balinese regulations.
The 1 rule is: Please do not smoke inside the house. We have ash trays in the patio and we would be most grateful if guests will abide by this.
We are 2 brothers who live in different continents growing up (US and Australia), and we decided to move to Bali together in late 2012. Right now, we decide to see a bit of the world together, so while we are traipsing the world, we are renting out our house in Bali. As the adage goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed, and we count ourselves blessed and lucky to have our friend, Sarah, who would be helping us checking-in/out guests while we are not in Bali. Sarah speaks Indonesian, English, and Italian!
Any information left out or something else you would like to know about? Please feel free to ask and we'll happily get back to you as soon as we can!
The only rule that we have is that our guests do not smoke inside the house. We have ashtrays in the outdoor area.
Our check in time is 2 PM and check out time is 12 PM (noon). However, we do try to be as flexible as possible in terms of check in and check out time if there's no one checking out or no one checking in respectively. We have allowed guests to check out as late as 10 PM when there's no one else checking in, and we have allowed guests to check in as early as 6 AM when there's no one occupying the place.
If there are existing guests, then our check in time is 2 PM (because their check out time is 12 (noon), and we will need a couple of hours to get the place ready for the new guests), and if we have new guests coming in, then our check out tie is noon (because the new guests will need to check in by 2 PM).
If it's simply leaving our luggage at the premise prior to checking in (if there are current guests), or prior to checking out (in case there are new guests checking in), it shouldn't be an issue because some guests do that as well. Please be assured that if we can accommodate our guests' requests, we would. However, we can't block off an extra night for an early check in or a late check out. I hope you understand our position about this.
