The ‘Stars Aligned’ a luxury listing featuring two homes (plus optional adjacent crafting studio for 12), fully remodeled with gourmet kitchens, hardwood floors, super-comfy beds, high-quality linens & so much more! We can sleep up to 14 in beds. We offer plenty of bedrooms for individual privacy as well as large, entertaining spaces for when everyone wants to be together. We feature fully fenced, beautiful yards with patio furniture, BBQ's and a ping-pong table. We are SO excited to host you!

The space
In our crafting studio each guest will have their own 2’x4’ table and ergonomic, fully adjustable chair. A wall mounted 55" OLED TV with accessible USB to use for teaching and demonstrations. We have great overhead, LED natural lighting with ‘Stella’ brand task lighting also available. TWO cutting areas including a Martelli adjustable cutting table and mat (no more aching back pain from cutting!), three ironing stations including irons, above table outlets, 5-Disc CD player for playing your favorite music, an onsite fabric and supply store, fully equipped kitchen & more! Guests bring their own sewing machines, sergers, computers and projects for a creative experience.
If you want to take a break from sewing or crafting, snuggle up with a good quilting magazine or book from our library or watch a movie on Netflix or Amazon in our living rooms. You may also want to relax or enjoy conversation with friends in the gazebo, on the patio or at rose garden. Thumbuddy Special quilt shop is on the premises and is available at agreed upon hours.

Each home has a unique vibe and color scheme, with original textile art and unique touches to set it apart. The realization of this dream inspired our name, 'The Stars Aligned'!
We are conveniently located with quick access to major thoroughfares heading north, south, east or west. We're 5 miles from both I-5 and the airport, and 60 miles from the Oregon coast. University of Oregon, Hayward Field, Autzen Stadium, and downtown are all within 6 miles. Need a quick coffee? Espresso, Etc., is 2 minutes away with cheerful service and reasonable prices — grocery stores and retail within five minutes' drive. Emerald Park (known to the locals as River Road Park) is less than a mile south. We have a carefully curated book of local restaurant, winery and shopping ideas for your consideration. We think you'll love staying here!

Hi, I’m Lynndi. I have loved drawing and making things all my life. I first learned to sew small pieces of fabrics together on my great grandmother’s treadle sewing machine when I was 10 or 11. Through the years I dabbled in so many crafty experiences, some I stayed with longer than others like my Thumbuddy Special greeting card line and my Claybuddy Collectibles (polymer clay creations) both of which I made and sold for many years. The first quilt I made was in the 1970s and the fabrics were all cut out with scissors! (Pre-rotary cutter days!) It was fun and very rewarding but it wasn't until the 1990s that I got another taste for quilting after the purchase of a fancy rotary cutter and a new sewing machine. After I got my feet wet I designed my own purse pattern called the Diva Essential Designer Bag. It has been popular in the US as well as around the world. Since then I have designed a few more patterns. My family, friends and I sold patterns, kits and fabrics, etc. at quilt shows for many years but now we have the enjoyment of our guests visiting us! The quilt shop of Thumbuddy Special, LLC will be open for your browsing and shopping convenience at designated times during your stay. It is my pleasure to host you, and my family and I hope you enjoy your time here and in our community, as much as we do!
