Nestled in the heart of the South of Broad district, our house is on a quiet side street. To get the full Charleston experience, you must walk through White Point Gardens adjacent to the Battery, get lost exploring the nearby antebellum Charleston homes and gardens on Legare and South Battery St., and cap off the day with cocktails on the roof of bars such as Vendue Inn overlooking the Charleston harbor and skyline at sunset!
For your convenience, we have a reserved private parking spot next to the carriage house. Also, 2 bikes are available for exploring the downtown area. Almost everything is within walking distance, so we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes to explore some of the oldest cobblestone streets.

The listing description was more than accurate. The carriage house was really nice and very comfortable. Upon arrival the fridge was stocked with some welcome food and drinks. The hosts went above and beyond accommodating us and they were the nicest people. They even gave us beach chairs to take to the beach.
You could not ask for a better neighborhood! You can walk to absolutely everything you would want to do in Charleston's city center. Including some of the best restaurants and attractions the city has to offer. I would go every year and never think of staying anywhere else if I could!
The host ensured we had directions, a parking space , and provided treats upon our arrival.
The lasting was accurate and we had a wonderful experience.
Wonderful place to stay in a great location. Very clean and well stocked with the essentials. Prior to our arrival they provided us with a long list of places to eat, things to do and places to go. We would certainly stray here again
Will and Kat's beautiful carriage house was even better than expected! They were gracious hosts, leaving goodies for us upon arrival and an extensive list of recommendations of things to see and do while in Charleston. Further, they were incredibly flexible on our arrival time as my friend arrived sooner than expected. The space itself was even more charming than the pictures and the location couldn't have been better for seeing one of the grandest historic neighborhoods of Charleston. Their home is one of the best Air Bnbs I have stayed in to date and I highly recommend booking this if you plan to visit Charleston. I definitely want to return. Thanks Will and Kat!!
Host welcomed us upon arrival. And there was a bottle of wine, beer, eggs, and milk stocked in the fridge. She showed us around the place, which was beautifully restored in an old carriage house. Before we arrived, she sent us directions, gave us recommendations on places to eat and things to do. Great experience overall.
I hesitate to leave a review for Will and Kat because staying with them was so perfect that I am afraid everyone will want to stay there, making it difficult for US to book with them the next time we go to Charleston!
Both of them were very helpful before and during our stay. They really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed being there. All of the photos they provided are accurate and there were no surprises.
This is our first time using Airbnb and theirs was the first home in which we stayed. I looked at ALL the listings around the historic district and even though many others looked wonderful, it is hard to imagine any of them were better than this beautiful carriage house in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by the most gorgeous homes and gardens in Charleston.
Please do me a favor, when you book with them don't do it when we want to go back. Don't make me sorry that I told you about one of the best hidden secrets in the city!
Kat and I work in Healthcare. We love hiking, swimming at the lake, water-skiing/tubing, reading (audiobooks), playing tennis, medical mission trips, cooking, netflix, running, Zumba, swing dancing, and spending time with family.
We had a lot of fun designing our place, and we hope you enjoy staying here!
