INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
I meet all of my guests when they first arrive. I give them a good introduction to the neighborhood with a iPad guided tour. I am an arts curator and my partner is a musician, so we usually have a line on some events and performances that visitors otherwise would never learn about. If guests' interests coincide, I may invite them out during their stay (via email or text) to various cultural arts activities.
From time to time, I may need to stop by the loft to perform maintenance or to pick up supplies for maintenance of another space. I will email/text my guests before I stop by to see what might be a convenient time to visit. They do not have to be there, but can be, if they wish.
In the case that a guest does not respond to communication attempts, after waiting a reasonable amount of time, I may choose to enter the loft without their permission. Although, I will always make every effort to preserve the privacy of my guests during their stay, the reservation agreement does not at any point override my right to enter the property at my discretion.

Staying at The L was exactly what we needed! Stephanie is a wonderful host, and made her self available for any questions we had. We even had the pleasure of having dinner with her the night we arrived at a local pub. The apartment is a short walk from a list of great restaurants and bars,
The Stephanie and James were very welcoming and helpful! Apartment is big and with lots of light as described. Neighborhood is still in development stage, industrial, but that's where you can mostly find those Loft like big apartments:-)
We enjoyed our stay at The L. Stephanie was a great communicator and the apartment is just as described. Great neighborhood too! Our family loved the view from the windows and enjoyed playing games on the table in the loft. Quick train ride to Manhattan.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Myself and 5 friends really enjoyed our week long trip to NYC and Stephanie's apartment definitely contributed to a great trip. Prior to, Stephanie was an excellent communicator and responded promptly when I had questions.
When we arrived at the Loft, it was better than I had originally anticipated. All 6 of us were able to stay at the apartment comfortably in addition to staying at a really cool place. The high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows totally gave an authentic NYC Loft experience.
The location of the Loft cannot be beat. It was literally a 3 minute walk to the train to take us to everywhere we wanted to be. We loved staying in Bushwick. It was nice to come home to a quiet neighbourhood after visiting the city all day but Bushwick is an up-and-coming neighbourhood and we thoroughly enjoyed trying all great restaurants in the area.
One thing that is out of our host's control, but is worth knowing, is that it was sometimes difficult to have a shower that was hot. It was always tolerable- and we all managed, but it was something I took note of.
Stephanie was great and really accommodated our group and we felt fortunate to stay in a great place that helped make our trip wonderful.
Stephanie was so helpful in the process of helping me house people from my company over at the L for our Holiday Party! She went above and beyond working with me make sure everyone's need were met and taken care of. I would recommend her spaces to anyone looking for a cool, comfortable place to stay for work or fun!

My name is Stephanie. I am an artist, curator and interior designer. I have worked in the contemporary art field for six years (in Los Angeles and New York). I am completing graduate study at NYU.
I was drawn in to the neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn for its creative vitality. Ours is a wonderful community of working artists, writers, musicians, designers, filmmakers, you name it! In addition, the converted factories hold some of the most unique living spaces anywhere in the world.
I created The L and L2 in order to share this remarkable place and time in art history with others, by hosting visitors from the US and abroad and also by working with creative professionals who use the spaces for filming or photography. In return, I am able to learn about cultures and artistic practices other than my own, staying immersed in the joy of exchange.
Thanks for checking out my spaces. I hope that we may cross paths one day!
