James was a wonderful, warmly welcoming host and his place is definitely to be recommended for Vancouver visitors. We spent three nights in his appartment which is located pretty perfectly in our opinion. One of the highlights, as you can see on his photos: From out of the bed you can see the beautiful mountains!
James had a lot of maps which where very helpful for finding the perfect hiking trip and cool tourist attractions. Also he had a lot of interesting stories to tell - about the city and about himself. We really enjoyed our trip and would come back for sure if we ever need a place to stay in Vancouver again. Thanks James!
James was very welcoming and easy to talk to. He was very flexible with check in and check out times. The apartment is close to downtown and the view from the balcony is amazing. When trying to plan out what we should see, James was very helpful and provided us several maps which my friend and I used to explore the city. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Vancouver!
This was such an amazing place to stay. James was super flexible and helpful, not to mention he was a joy to be around.
It was close to everything in the city, and was such a nice place to wake up each morning with all the light pouring in.
Would definitely stay again!
He's very nice nice person .
I was James' s guest from Seattle, WA.
He was a very warm and welcoming host and had come down to receive me and escorted me to my room.
He also had a dozen maps (for Vancouver whereabouts) all laid out neatly on the desk as well as some restaurants which were so helpful :-)
I had initially planned to stay for a week, but since I had got done with my business I decided to leave earlier(2 days earlier than my original stay) and he very patiently accommodated the difference in cost.
Apart from the homely room and my stay, I got a chance to interact with a wonderful human being, which is always a bonus.
James is a very nice person and a great artist. He is always available for help and I feel at home. The place is very close to downtown and there are many buses near by. It is also a petit gallery full of amazing art works. It's really a great experience and I recommend the place to everyone who are coming to Vancouver at the first time.
