My family had a wonderful month-long stay in the flat, despite a few problems (broken furniture, heating issue) at the beginning. Michel was incredibly helpful; he responded right away, stayed in regular contact and sorted everything out immediately. What more can you ask? He is also a lovely person!
The flat itself is beautifully decorated, cosy, comfortable and full of light. Everything you need is there, as well as the extra bits that kids may need. We got our exercise on the stairs (3rd floor) - my 7 year old was fine, but the 3 year old moaned about it.
The area is wonderful one for families - plenty of kindercafes and playgrounds in walking distance. It's also convenient for transport and is only a short journey to the city centre. The Kollwitzplatz itself has markets on Thursday and Saturday which are great. Daily shopping is easy with a local grocery store only 5 min from the door.
I can't recommend it enough - we would happily return and hope to do so in the future. Michel is a wonderful host!
Loved our stay at MIchael & Anne's apartment - fantastic location and lovely, bright and cosy home. The market outside the door on Saturday was a wonderful surprise and we found exploring the local area the highlight of our trip! Michel was very helpful and although he couldn't meet us on arrival we had all the information we needed for an easy and enjoyable stay! We highly recommend this apartment, stay here - you will not regret it!
We spent a week in Michel's beautiful apartment in Prenzlauer Berg- we loved it! The apartment is comfortable and spacious, with a very modern kitchen and bathroom, really everything we needed. The neighborhood was a delight- pretty, fun to walk around and with plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Michel was very friendly and a great host.
Nice, spacious and really comfortable apartment in an amazing neighborhood (especially with kids).
The host (Michel) was not polite when I made basic enquiries. The apartment is beautiful and the location was fantastic.
We absolutely adored staying in this amazing apartment. Michel was there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome; giving us some tips on some of the best places to eat and go out in the area. The apartment itself is stunning and feels really homely. We loved the high ceilings and big windows; we were two couples sharing and it didn't feel cramped in any way. The area is lovely; lots of young families and independent shops and cafes etc. Don't miss the Saturday market a little further up the street - great food, drink and craft stalls and a really nice atmosphere. We couldn't have picked a more perfect apartment and area to stay in. We just wished we could have stayed for more than 4 nights!
We were welcomed by Anne who explained us everything about the property. The location was excellent as expected and the property very well equipped.
