Want to stay in an IKEA built pad?!

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Cylindergränd, Kalhäll, Stockholm County 17675, Sweden

The Space

Welcome to Kallhall, a lovely quiet and family friendly suburb that is only a 22 minute journey to Stockholm city centre. Out here we have beaches, pubs, shops and IKEA just around the corner! Good thing too since IKEA built this puppy!

A sound tight newly built 3 bedroom apartment with bunk beds in one room, a super king size bed in another and a double in the other (with an extra futon mattress that can be pulled out and used). Oh, and the sofa pulls out to a double bed too! Overall its 81 square meters with an open kitchen/living room that can sleep 6 comfortably but you can squeeze another 2 if you need.

Included are wifi internet, a 42'' TV with youtube and usb ports, Wii with Wii Fit and other various games, BBQ, private balcony and a playground just outside. As you can see our house is great for anyone including small kids. Other amenities are a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, washer & dryer, shower (with amazing water pressure!) and a George Forman! The place is kitted out since it is our home!

Please do drop us a line if you are interested. We are flexible on our terms and would love you to check out this great neighbourhood...as well as Stockholm.

  • What a pleasure it was to stay in Shaena's and Peter's appartment! A special place at a special location. Lovely! When we were sitting on the balcony with all the trees around us, we had the feeling of really being in Sweden.
The appartment is very comfortable with all the things you need and much more. There is an intimate atmosphere, that makes you happy. And in the weeks we were there the immediate neighbourhood was very quiet.
Shaena and Peter are very friendly and warm persons, full of cooperation and understanding, when you need something and have questions. (Shaena even called in her father-in-law for a specialistic question we had.) There was a welcome present waiting for us and food and drinks were there for the first hours of our stay.
Kallhäll has a very good public traffic system: with the "pendel tåg" (commuter train) you are in 20 minutes in Stockholm, 25 km away from Kallhäll. And it has itself good stores and facilities.
Shaena's and Peter's home is a perfect place to be, especially when you want to visit Stockholm and its surroundings and don't want to stay in a busy and noisy big city. We liked it very much and recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Sweden.

Originally from Canada, I had the idea of taking a year off to travel to Ireland (7 years ago now) where I ended up meeting "The one". We have now been living, working and experience all the fun things life has to offer in Ireland, Scotland and now Sweden! Currently I am a full time mom to two boys and loving every minute! We love hosting guests and showing them all this beautiful city has to offer! I am a social butterfly and love meeting new people and hearing their stories. Travelling is also a huge part of our lives though its quieted down recently with the kids but we hope to be going somewhere cool soon!
