My contemporary condo is a great place to stay for the couple looking for a quick getaway or for someone visiting San Diego for business. It includes dark wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, floor to ceiling windows, bar stools, disposal, dishwasher, washer/dryer and access to the parking garage. Experience the night life first hand, or relax on the balcony while you enjoy a bottle of wine on the house!
Access to parking garage and whole interior of condo unit, including the balcony.
Interaction with Guests
Besides the messaging through Airbnb, you will be able to enjoy your vacation with little interaction from me! You will have complete privacy as if you were in your own downtown home.
1/2 a block from Petco Park, 6 blocks from convention center and 6 blocks from Gaslamp. The perfect distance to be close to the action, but not have all the noise so you can sleep!
*Quiet Walkable Neighborhood*
Within just two walkable blocks is a grocery store, Starbucks, Union Bank, a couple delis, The Corner Bar, Basic Pizza, The Tilted Kilt, Lolita's at the Park, a great barber, and more.
I would use a service like Lyft or Uber to get around San Diego. Install the app on your smartphone and request a ride. They usually pick up within 5 minutes of your request and cost half the amount as a regular taxi!
Otherwise the MTS trolly is $5 per day to ride and travels all over downtown, even up into Mission Valley or Qualcomm (Chargers) stadium!
* No smoking inside the unit
* Let me know before having additional guests over
* No partying (Full use of sound system is certainly OK however)
* Be respectful of your neighbors - any noise complaints will be cause for immediate removal without reimbursement
* No pets unless previous arrangements have been made
From Aug 01, 2015 - Dec 31, 2016 the minimum stay is 26 nights.
This condo is very comfortable, well located and everything was as described. Key pickup was very easy and host was very responsive whenever we had question. Lots of nice restaurants just around the block. The private parking spot is also very useful especially on game night where it can become very crowdy. It is a 10 minutes walk to the convention center.
We will come back for sure on our next visit to San Diego !
Appartement juste parfait. Residence securisee, tres bien située, a deux pas du quartier branché de gaslamp. Toit terrasse sur lequel on peut admirer le stade et les match de base ball.
I stayed at Cardo's condo when I was in San Diego for 8 days for a conference at the convention center. For me, it was so much nicer, more fun and more welcoming than a hotel - and much less expensive. Cardo was a great host - very responsive - and little touches in the condo like complimentary oatmeal, trail mix and coffee were a big plus. The condo itself is lovely - just as pictured and described. The roof top deck shared by the building tenants is spectacular - views that go forever. I enjoyed relaxing up there with a glass of wine after a long day on the convention show floor. I loved the neighborhood - just outside the noisy streets of the Gaslamp district but just a few minutes walking distance to the Convention Center. The East Village is a charming neighborhood with lots of first class neighborhood restaurants, tapas bars, etc. The restaurants are a little less expensive than in the Gaslamp area and less touristy. I'd rent this condo again in a heartbeat - and I'm sure I will next time I am in San Diego.
My host Cardo was great and very accommodating. The room simply could not be in a better location for downtown San Diego and the room decor was phenomenal.
We hade a great stay. The apartment hade a great location. Check in and out was easy. The parking included was a big plus.

About the Host, Rich
I love to host! Always have. Now I'm just expanding my network of friends I am host to. :) I'm originally from Michigan, turned San Diegan back in 2010 because I love the sun and the outdoors. I know all the best hiking, swimming & sight seeing places in San Diego. I'm also a huge foodie! Love that food! So ask me where the best place to find your favorite cuisine is and I'll tell you just the spot.
