About this listing
Stay in this cheerful, design forward 2BR apt that we created just for AirBnB. We added touches that we wish were in all of the places we stay, like a washer/dryer, a jambox, comfy beds, nice shampoo, and robes from India. BTW, this location rocks.

Interaction with Guests
We will be present to hand off keys when we are in town (we live across the street in an old firehouse). If neither of us are available, we will leave the keys to the apartment with the owners of the tea shop (Cleveland Tea Revival) or with Katie, who helps to manage the property.
Hingetown is a fabulous part of the Ohio City neighborhood in Cleveland, and (email hidden) to explore. There is a contemporary art gallery across the street, an indoor cycling/spin studio down the street in the same building, and lots of other community-focused amenities. We are sure you'll love it as much as we do.
We will supply two folding bikes for your use during your stay, and there is a bike share program called Zagster with a stand across the street at the firehouse. There are multiple bus lines less than a block away to take you to downtown or the east side, and we are a 7-minute walk from the heart of the Market District in Ohio City, where there is a Rapid station. Getting here from the airport is easiest by taxi, which will take about 20 minutes and cost less than $30. You can also take the Rapid and walk if you prefer.
Cleveland also has both Uber and Lyft, so these are also great resources for getting around.
Other Things to Note
We've teamed up with two dynamic local artists whose art is displayed on the walls. All the art is for sale!
-No smoking in the apartment
-Pets generally not preferred but let us know your circumstance - we have made exceptions for smaller well-behaved dogs, with a $50 pet fee
-$25 one-time cleaning fee added to the bill
I really loved staying here, and am only disappointed that it was just for two nights - it was such a relaxing place to come back to after spending the whole day at the Clinic. It's on a cute street, with a lovely tea shop and juice bar below, and only takes a couple minutes to get across the bridge and into downtown, and about 15 to the Cleveland Clinic or over to University Circle without traffic. It was extremely quiet and peaceful; I didn't hear a single sound from the neighboring apartment or from downstairs (aside from people on the street). Check-in was so quick and easy, no worrying about meeting them at a certain time.
The beds are comfy, the sheets are very soft. The tub is huge and deep and very difficult to say goodbye to. The kitchen was super nice - stocked well with pans and only missing a few small essentials for someone that is going to actually do some cooking there (like a veggie peeler), but all set if you're just making breakfasts or bringing food back.
Graham and Marika were very helpful and accommodating, and tried their best to get me a late checkout. It didn't work out, but they and their coworker Katie were nice enough to hold my bag and some of my cold groceries at their office across the street.
I come to Cleveland every six months or so, and will definitely stay here again next time!
This is a wonderful apartment right on the edge of Ohio City. Everything was exactly as the pictures show, and Graham and Marika were very quick to respond with any questions we had. Only a 10 min walk to W. 25th, and several shops to explore right below the apartment. Would definitely recommend this place!
Loved it! Hosts kept in touch; the neighborhood was very friendly; loved the coffee shop across the street; I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also loved the food at Black Pig and JackFlaps.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc.; we were surprised to find a french press, rather than I coffee maker, but it actually worked just as well. As you can see from the pictures, the apartment is adorable and spacious - big enough for me to exercise several times. The neighborhood is also nice, within walking distance of bars and restaurants; very close to downtown. I think our only complaint is that the living room wasn't very comfortable; it's cute, but not really suited for lounging.
What an superbly charming property in an extremely convenient and hip neighborhood! And, the hosts, Marika and Graham, were helpful and perfectly communicative. They thought of everything you could want while you stay at their comfortable apartment. Don't stop at go before booking this amazing place.
What a great place! The neighborhood has a wonderful coffee shop across the street and juice bar downstairs. My daughter and I biked around Ohio City and to Lake Erie. A short drive to downtown Cleveland. The apartment is welcoming, clean, and has great taste.
Thanks for a nice stay and we will be back!
