Hingetown is a fabulous part of the Ohio City neighborhood in Cleveland, and (email hidden) to explore. There is a contemporary art gallery across the street, an indoor cycling/spin studio down the street in the same building, and lots of other community-focused amenities. We are sure you'll love it as much as we do.
We will supply two folding bikes for your use during your stay. There are multiple bus lines less than a block away to take you to downtown or the east side, and we are a 7-minute walk from the heart of the Market District in Ohio City, where there is a Rapid station. Getting here from the airport is easiest by taxi, which will take about 20 minutes and cost less than $30. You can also take the Rapid and walk if you prefer.
Other Things to Note
We've teamed up with two dynamic local artists whose art is displayed on the walls. All the art is for sale!
-No smoking in the apartment
-No pets allowed (sorry!)
-$25 one-time cleaning fee added to the bill
Graham and Marika's place was awesome, they were easy to communicate with, and the experience was everything we love about the spirit of AirBNB--unique and hip space, thoughtfully decorated and equipped (washer / dryer, ipod speakers, etc), and the setup and location allowed and encouraged easy access to the community of Hingetown, with its assortment of shops and characters and friendly / welcoming people. We were in town for a family event in northeast Ohio, and afterwards wound up having a blast and spending a memorable long weekend in Cleveland with their Hingetown hangout as our launching pad for exploring Tremont and Ohio City. It's been over a decade since I last lived in Northeast Ohio, and there was nothing like this back then. The apartment itself is a work of art, and it's cool to see how transforming a space and a building leads to transforming a neighborhood and a community. Thanks Graham and Marika for your part in making Hingetown happen, and thanks for making Hingetown a place we'd want to stay every time we visit the region!
This wonderful place made me feel like a hipper, more awesome version of my everyday self. It was perfect: charming, great location, wonderfully comfortable, completely accommodating. Graham and Marika did everything to make the visit effortless and welcoming. I'd give TEN stars if only I could. Highly recommended!
Staying at Graham and Malika's quaint apartment was my favorite part of our stay in Cleveland! It was very functional and comfortable. The contemporary decor and exposed brick is trendy and fun. The neighborhood is charming and convenient, bars and restaurants are just a short walk away. Can't wait to stay here when we return!
Private apartment feel; clean and comfortable. Warm, kindly downstairs neighbors in Cleveland Tea Revival and Beet Jar Juice Bar.
Four of us came to Cleveland for a weekend stay and this apartment was the perfect place for us to hang our hats. The space was beautiful: well maintained and decorated and perfectly situated in a great neighbourhood with excellent amenities. We loved the exposed brick and clawfoot bathtub. Truly a luxurious air bnb rental!
