Silvio's place was way nicer than I expected, clean, nice furniture, beautiful tiled floors and exposed brick ceilings. Your stuff is very secure behind four different locked doors!
Also, he checks in on you to make sure that everything is going well. We lost hot water for a few hours one evening and I emailed Silvio and he fixed it immediately.
He cares very much about being a good host, and he wants to be sure that you are satisfied with your stay. The apartment at Piazza del Paradiso had windows in the bedroom on a corner that looked down two walk streets. The place lit up with golden light every morning and evenings as the sun rose and set off the buildings. The A/C worked perfectly, there is a desk, couch, tv, nice old solid wood furniture, kitchenette with fridge, washer/dryer, small shower but one of the first I have used abroad with no issues whatsoever.
This apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family getaway. There is some noise off Piazza Campo Di Fiori but that is to be expected when you chose to live so close to the city center. Everything is in walking distance from this flat. I would be shocked if you did not have a fantastic experience.
Location, location, location! Silvio's apartment was very comfortable for our family of four. Centrally located to all the sites in Rome...we walked everywhere. Silvio was a wonderful host and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our time in Italy.
We stayed in Silvio's apartment at the Paradiso right at Campo de Fiori.
The apartment is clean with air conditioning, microwave, fride and washer. The location is great, easy to walk to many of the sites. In the morning shut off the air conditioner and open the windows - the breeze is marvelous and the sounds of the market coming to life makes you want to get out and see what they are seeing.
This was our first time in Italy and Silvio was very helpful in getting us tickets for the bus. Telling us the best places to eat and get gelato! Delta also lost our luggage and if it wasn't for Silvio, talking to them (we don't speak Italian) we would not have gotten our bag at all.
Silvio is a great host! He is kind and will go out of his way to make sure you have a wonderful visit. This is place is where you want to stay. When we go back to Rome, we will definitely book with Silvio again. Thank you Silvio we had such a great time!
