Vincent is a great host, always asking if i am ok with everything, helping me with my directions. The room i stayed is tidy, cozy. If your schedule meets with vincent's, sometimes you can take his ride to the city center. Thank you for the stay! Hope can meet Amanda next time!
Vincent is kind and helpful but if you a teenager, you just like talking with police or FBI. His compliment can gave you many pressure.for example,he ask you 「what are you doing today and going with who?」it made you bad feeling and thinking 「I am traveling now not lesson in the school」
And toilet is not good that refill water very slowly .bathroom is unconvinced after 10:00pm he not let you shower because he need sleeping.
breaskfast is tiny, only give you 2 to 3 piece of toast and coffee tea.
Sometime Vincent will need go out early or (email hidden) you need follow his scheme .you never know what time you must go out today.because you haven't own key.
The room is clean and tidy.but the wifi cannot connect many (website hidden) doesn't good.
Totally this house is suit for family but not for backpacker and student.
Maybe this is different culture to me.
Hi To, Thank you for your review. I think most of your problems come from your lack of understanding of English. House rules specify if there is no adequate supervision in the home then guests must vacate the house. This is for the security of all guests. Unfortunately my was was on vacation during your visit and if you read the other reviews you will understand why I was trying to help you with your English. You need to improve your understanding of the language if you want to go forwards. I am sorry that you felt the way you did but it was purely your misunderstanding of things. Thanks for staying anyway.
Wow what a wonderful introduction to Ireland!! Vincent and Amanda are welcoming, funny, helpful, sociable, entertaining, caring real people. Loved every minute being with them and their two lovely kids. Really quiet area. Little bit far from city centre but I enjoyed the bus trip each day, meeting locals and getting the vibe of Ireland. They were really really helpful with info on places of interest and how to get there. Just really lovely people and I would be back there in a heartbeat. I will be smiling at memories there for a long time to come. Trish
Amanda and Vincent were excellent hosts! I began a tour of Ireland at their home - Vincent picked me up from the airport and explained the city, the buses and the sights to me. Amanda made sure everything was comfortable and welcoming for me. It was the perfect place to lay a foundation for great trip through this country. Vincent know everything there is to know about Dublin and when I left them Amanda hugged me like a friend.
