Perfect. Location was great, had everything we needed at the apartment...aloe & bug repellent came in handy when we hiked El Yunque. Location is far enough away from nightlife, but only a 2 block walk to all the action, we absolutely adored Old San Juan, the view of the sunrise & sunset from the fort were to die for! Breakfast at La Bombonera will not disappoint!! Excellent food, drinks & entertainment just a short walk away. Fantastic hosts, very easy to reach for questions.

Very satisfied with the experience. The location is fantastic--I enjoyed sipping coffee from the dining table while taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean through the windows. Irma and Bernardo are very attentive to detail, providing a plethora of Puerto Rico brochures, maps, beach towels, books, extra pillows and linens, etc. Instructions for check-in were super clear. Bernardo stopped by and answered some of our questions about the history of the island, and he provided us with recommendations. I would stay there again.

Could not have asked for better hosts. Irma and Bernardo are so incredibly hospitable. We actually missed Bernardo's welcoming twice and he actually drove to the airport the day we left to introduce himself and say goodbye. Two kind hearted people who take their airbnb to a new level. The place was perfectly located in old San Juan. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars and forts! We had so much fun. The house makes you feel like you're a local!

Spent three nights at 420 with my husband and son. The apartment is simple and quaint, centrally located with beautiful ocean / fort views, and perfectly suited our needs. Irma and Bernardo were kind enough to let us use their travel crib for our one year old son and even had it all set up for us upon arrival. The towels were fresh and soap and small bottles of shampoo and conditioner we're provided. There were also some essentials such as aloe and sunscreen on the shelf for us to use. The air conditioning worked decently (better with the bedroom door closed) to keep us cool at night. There is a kite in the wicker bench, although we had brought our own, which you can fly in the park across the street or by El Morro. The street bustles during the day but quiets down at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Thanks Laura for your review and suggestions. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. First of all we always give another key if it is needed. You only have to ask for it. The floor tiles are always well cleaned before a guest is coming but remember that the apartment is on the ground floor in front of a busy street. Anyway we will tell the cleaning lady. Thanks for the suggestion of the drying rack nobody told us before and is a very good idea.Regarding the futon it is going to be replaced for a new one as soon we have a few days without guests. (Probably before summer.) Meanwhile we will make sure the stains are scrubbed away. Hope you can return in the near future and stay a little longer. Puerto Rico has a lot of places to see.

This was my first time staying at AirBNB and it was a great experience. We stayed for 7 days during Spring break. The apartment is cute and located in a fantastic location, close to restaurants, shops, parking garage, and Hertz car rental. The ocean view outside the apartment is amazing. El Morro is a 15 minute walk. We flew a kite and watched the beautiful sunset at El Morro 3 times. Make sure to bring insect spray. The mosquitos are vicious after sunset. The apartment is good for two people since it has a full-size bed. There is a sofa futon in the living room, but not sure how comfortable it would be for sleeping. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, along with beach towels and even two umbrellas. We slept comfortably since the bedroom was in the back and did not hear the street noise or construction. The air conditioner in the bedroom cooled both bedroom and living/kitchen area. We did not get a chance to meet Bernardo and Irma. However, we spoke on the phone and he recommended several restaurants. We loved Café Mallorca, La Bombonera, La Cueva Del Mar, La Madre, and Café Puerto Rico. We would definitely stay at the apartment again and I will recommend it to my friends and family.

Thanks Lisa for your nice review. Sorry for not leaving the extra towels. Next time just ask for them. It won't happen again. The door mat is also a great suggestion. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope next time we can meet you.
