double bedroom with private bathroom in a bright and stylish penthouse with terrace in Dublin’s most vibrant area, Grand Canal Theatre/Hanover Quay. Located in the city center, near (website hidden) and (website hidden) HQs, Dublin Convention Center.
The apartment was featured this month in "Image Interiors Magazine", one of the leading magazines in Ireland, with pictures and an interview of me. You will find the article in the pictures, so you can understand who I am and what the apartment looks like.
It is a 2-floors penthouse with a large terrace.
-Bedroom 1 (my bedroom, not to let)
-Bedroom 2: 4.5m x 3m, private bathroom. Balcony
-Utility room: washing machine with dryer, iron with table
-Kitchen, fully equipped
-Dining room: 5.5m x 4m
-Living room: penthouse
Bedroom 2 has its own private bathroom (bath with with jets). In the bedroom you have 3 closets, so there is enough room to put your clothes and luggage.
1 detail: I don’t have TV. You’ll see, it is actually great to do something else… ☺
Full access to the apartment except my bedroom.
Interaction with Guests
It is up to you. I love living in Dublin, so I can definitely share my tips, good addresses, bring you to nice bars if you want.
On the contrary, if you prefer discovering the city on your own or if you are here for business, you can have your privacy. The fact that the apartment is a duplex is a "+"
I welcome all guests, all religions, genders etc.
I don't mind smokers (I don't smoke myself)
I hope to see you soon
The penthouse is located besides Grand Canal Theatre and the Marker Hotel. There are a lot of bars, restaurants and cafes in the area, as well as pubs and restaurants nearby, ranging from affordable to chic.
Easy to come from the airport by bus or taxi (around 20/30 minutes depending on traffic)
2 bike stations beside the apt: 10-minute bike ride / 20 minute walk brings you to St Stephen’s Green.
Taxi station besides the building.
Other Things to Note
I don't have TV… Take it as a Detox… There is so much to do in Dublin that you won't have time to watch TV anyway…
I provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and even a hair dryer with full set of blow-dry brushes.
Just take care of my furniture and objects, each of them has a story…
Smokers accepted (I am NOT a smoker myself but I don't mind if you smoke)
Charlotte is a perfect host. My arrival was smooth and it was easy to navigate to the house following her instructions. The area is really cool and allows to choose from many great cafeterias and a grocery shop. As well as it is a walkable distance to the city center (15-20 min.). My room was spacious for one person and would be ok for short term for two I trust. Very clean, very nice and overall I had great experience. Thanks, Charlotte!
It was very easy to communicate with Charlotte by telephone and email, she responded very quickly and speaks french and english.
She has a very nice apartment in an up-and-coming neighborhood in Dublin. The room was quite small, but everything was very clean.
Very nice flat with good location(only few minutes from trinity college). We appreciate the top roof terrasse.Charlotte is a very welcoming person. We enjoy our stay there.
Totally blew me away. The unit itself is spectacular, the host even more so. Communication throughout the stay was very quick and clear. She's located in what seems to be a newer hip area. The unit was immaculate with a private baththroom, clean and comfortable bedroom and a rooftop deck to watch the sunrise from. Charlotte is friendly, warm and fun. I was lucky enough to have dinner with her one night, one of the benefits of AirBnB, which was a nice way to exeprience some of the local culture with great company. I feel very fortunate that a friend of her's was also free to meet me and showed me around areas I wouldn't have know to go to had I been on my own. There wasn't anything missing from this trip. I would stay again with Charlotte without hesitation and will recommend her to any friends that may be visiting.
Super accueil de Charlotte, appartement splendide et proche du centre. Vraiment rien à redire !
This apartment is a total gem in the heart of Dublin. Really well located and beautifully decorated with a tasteful, personal flair. Most of all, Charlotte is a gracious and thoughtful host, and a truly interesting and colourful person whom it was a pleasure to meet. I would not hesitate to stay here again (in fact, I will be in a couple of months). Thank you Charlotte!
This is a true little gem in the centre of Dublin - it's in the new city centre, and just a quick cab ride (or a nice 20 minute walk) to the Trinity College / St Stephens Green area. The flat is beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of personal touches, with really large common areas and balconies on both floors (the top floor balcony is huge with a lovely view). The room was super comfy and quiet.
Most importantly, Charlotte is a gracious, thoughtful host and a really interesting person. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
It was such a pleasure to meet you Charlotte, and thank you again for hosting me!
