About this listing

double bedroom with private bathroom in a bright and stylish penthouse with terrace in Dublin’s most vibrant area, Grand Canal Theatre/Hanover Quay. Located in the city center, near (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) HQs, Dublin Convention Center.

The space

The apartment was featured this month in "Image Interiors Magazine", one of the leading magazines in Ireland, with pictures and an interview of me. You will find the article in the pictures, so you can understand who I am and what the apartment looks like.
It is a 2-floors penthouse with a large terrace.
Lower floor:
-Bedroom 1 (my bedroom, not to let)
-Bedroom 2: 4.5m x 3m, private bathroom. Balcony
-Utility room: washing machine with dryer, iron with table
-Kitchen, fully equipped
-Dining room: 5.5m x 4m
Upper floor:
-Living room: penthouse

Bedroom 2 has its own private bathroom (bath with with jets). In the bedroom you have 3 closets, so there is enough room to put your clothes and luggage.

1 detail: I don’t have TV. You’ll see, it is actually great to do something else… ☺

Guest access

Full access to the apartment except my bedroom.

Interaction with guests

It is up to you. I love living in Dublin, so I can definitely share my tips, good addresses, bring you to nice bars if you want.
On the contrary, if you prefer discovering the city on your own or if you are here for business, you can have your privacy. The fact that the apartment is a duplex is a "+"

I welcome all guests, all religions, genders etc.
I don't mind smokers (I don't smoke myself)

I hope to see you soon

Other things to note

European couples usually find the room fine, American couples find it a bit small.

I don't have TV… Take it as a Detox… There is so much to do in Dublin that you won't have time to watch TV anyway…

I provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and even a hair dryer with full set of blow-dry brushes.

Charlotte is an amazing host! She is kind, funny and thoughtful. She is excellent prepared and has very nice advise on how to spend time in the city, where to eat etc. The apartment was just out of this world. It was beautifully decorated, very well furnished, bright and clean. I very much enjoyed my stay in Dublin and would come back to Charlotte any time. I have only good things to say and can highly recommend Charlotte as a host! Best, Kathrin

Just stayed with Charlotte in Dublin. Everything about the experience was good. We arrived on one of the most miserable days in November and Charlotte came out to meet us in the nearby hotel so we would find our way to her apartment without any trouble. She was friendly, accommodating and very charming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We could make tea or coffee in the kitchen. The only tiny negative is there is no breakfast offered. Maybe if we had asked Charlotte would have been happy to oblige, even just a croissant or toast. Other than that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin. Especially if you're going to the 3 Arena for a concert as it is within walking distance.

Charlotte and her apartment were fantastic. Only stayed for a matter of a few hours due to an extremely early flight, but she was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and welcoming, and happy to chat and provide recommendations on where to eat in the area. The bed was very comfortable, and she even had a glass and jar of water prepared by the bedside. Would love to stay again sometime for a longer visit!
