I have a two double bedroomed Flat in Battersea, smack bang in between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge both bridges leading straight onto the Kings Rd where you will find cafes, restaurants and shopping. My flat is modern and arty...many paintings and prints around the place...if you like Marimekko you would love my home...has all mod cons, internet, tv,record player and records to play!!, washing machine, shower and bath-tub. The flat is cozy and welcoming , I have a dog who is totally gorgeous, clean and is always welcoming guests with a wag of the tail and a shoe in mouth. Battersea park is across the road, so you can have long walks or go running by the lakes and woods. The area is safe and has easy transport access to tube stations and buses that will take you to most areas in London.Clapham junction is 10 mins on foot,. there are some nice local pubs and the Royal collage of Art has just set up home two minutes away with a good local store for simple groceries right underneath..I also offer evening meals if you are interested please ask and we can discuss further. I look forward to meeting everyone ,
I stayed with Miranda and her dog Sniffy for several days while on business in London as there was a lack of hotels in the area I wanted to be. i enjoyed my stay and would recommend the place to others. Miranda is a gracious host, the room is large by London standards, the common areas are clean and as advertised, and Sniffy is a gentle, sweet dog to be around.
My friend and I stayed at Miranda's place for a night, and we really enjoyed it! The house is located not far from King's Road, what makes it easy to reach it. The pieces of art over the whole apartment and a lovely dog made us feel comfortably like at home. Miranda is an extremely nice host: she provided us with everything we needed. Thank you Miranda very much!
Lovely room in a great part of Battersea. Plus a very cool dog.
Really pretty room! And many arts. Miranda always help and inform about go to the place. We had a nice day in london
I stayed at Miranda's place for two nights, as one of my best friends was doing a gig for the release of his new album.
I would recommend without hesitation : Miranda is very nice and really makes you feel at home.
No doubt that I will stay here again if I have to come back in the area.
Miranda is a very friendly and welcoming host. The location is great - between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge with Battersea park across the road. The flat is modern and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We only stayed for one night, but it was great, thank you!
My mom and I enjoyed our stay at Miranda's very much!
It's located in a nice n' quiet neighborhood, very close to lovely King's Road and right near a bus stop. Sweet bedroom, really cool appartment!
Miranda herself is very welcoming and warm. gave us the clearest instructions how to get there and was very informative and helpful all the way. She's fun and interesting to talk to, and her advice and recommendations were literally perfect.
Her charming dog, Sniffy, is sweet as can be, made us feel at home.
Totally recommend it.
Miranda was a wonderful host! Very welcoming and wanted to ensure that I had a good time in London. She helped me plan various things to adventure along with giving me instructions on how to get there on public transit.
I booked Miranda's place because I was exhibiting at the Parallax Art Fair in Chelsea and this was very handy for that - for central London in general actually! It's right beside regular buses that bring you to Chelsea and Kensington in minutes (get a day pass, its handier). I couldn't resist a walk over Chelsea Bridge though, its so beautiful and only a lovely 20 minute stroll across to the Kings Road.
It is as it says on the tin, a modern flat complex, but Miranda has it done beautifully, arty prints and fabrics, clean, friendly and a sweet big dog who knocks you out with his welcome. A generous bedroom with a creaky bed but I slept like a log!
Overall, a perfect stay, will return!
Miranda is a warm and welcoming host. She knows loads about London, including how to get to most of it. She’s happy to help you with whatever you need, but is also happy to give you space and go about your business. Her home is comfy, clean, and well placed is quiet and safe Battersea. There are several bus stops right out front to get you wherever you need to go. Plus her doggie is so sweet and adorable!
