I have a two double bedroomed Flat in Battersea, smack bang in between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge both bridges leading straight onto the Kings Rd where you will find cafes, restaurants and shopping. My flat is modern and arty...many paintings and prints around the place...if you like Marimekko you would love my home...has all mod cons, internet, tv,record player and records to play!!, washing machine, shower and bath-tub. The flat is cozy and welcoming , I have a dog who is totally gorgeous, clean and is always welcoming guests with a wag of the tail and a shoe in mouth. Battersea park is across the road, so you can have long walks or go running by the lakes and woods. The area is safe and has easy transport access to tube stations and buses that will take you to most areas in London.Clapham junction is 10 mins on foot,. there are some nice local pubs and the Royal collage of Art has just set up home two minutes away with a good local store for simple groceries right underneath..I also offer evening meals if you are interested please ask and we can discuss further. I look forward to meeting everyone ,
Must be clean and respectful, must not "borrow"anything , must not smoke in the house, must be kind to humans and animals.
We are a French couple (27 years) and have a wonderful stay in London. To see imperative in his life :-) ( parks, museums, monuments and buildings of the royalties, the style of the houses, the cosmopolitan mix of people, typical English pubs , public transport , " the famous red buses " cheap and that takes you everywhere. and especially a big thank you for allowing us to miranda received for 4 nights. very nice and smiling, which will explain how to do if you have questions, and at the same time very discreet for your privacy during your stay at home. finally, the dog is very cuddly :) Thank you and I would recommend to spend your holiday in Miranda. Miranda was lovely and her apartment was wonderfully quirky. We slept very well and found everything to our satisfaction. Also, it was easy to get to the city centre thanks to the buses that leave from just outside. I'd definitely be happy to recommend this apartment to others.
Miranda is really nice and the flat is comfortable.
Also the location is great due to the easy access to buses and South Kensington station.
Amazing dog !
Miranda was a very nice hostess. Even though she was feeling a bit under the weather, she was always kind and helpful to us. We even enjoyed a glass of wine with her one night and we had a chance to chat for awhile, she was very fun to get to know. The flat was very clean and we absolutely LOVED the location! It was very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, and within walking distance of a nice little main hub. We even enjoyed a few (too many) beers with some local residents at a pub right next door - Union Arms.
As mentioned, the flat was very clean! Definitely small, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable one we ever stayed in, but for the value, location, cleanliness, and the pleasure of meeting Miranda, it can't be beat!!
Miranda was very kind&helpful.
We booked her Flat for four nights&everything was perfect.Miranda visit a friend in finnland so we enjoyed the hole flat alone.see you again
We had a great time in London! Miranda's flat was small but very comfortable for my husband and I. We were within walking distance to so many things, plus there was a bus stop right outside the apartment if we wanted to wander a little further. Miranda was easy to talk to and very friendly.
