Welcome to Joshua Tree's Habibi House. This bright, peaceful 1950's desert ranch home was restored to its original and magical charm with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, including a master en suite and lots of indoor/outdoor spaces to relax. We're a 3 minute drive to Joshua Tree Village farmers markets, shops, galleries, restaurants and coffee but feels like you're tucked away and secluded. The Habibi House is a place to enjoy the slow life, relax and reconnect.

The space
*Holiday decorations are up!! The exterior of our ranch house is strung with gorgeous holiday lights and inside, a lit Christmas tree for your holiday enjoyment!**

We put a lot of love into our home to create a space where we could bring friends, family and our guests to truly enjoy the desert and have a sanctuary to reconnect in. Most all of the items in the house we sourced locally or have brought back with us from our trips to Morocco. We worked with the craftsmen in the markets of Marrakesh and Berber Villages to get most of the hardware, textiles, furniture and decor that you'll see in the house. Even the bathroom brass sink was handmade and carried back with us.

The sunroom is our favorite place to wake up with a cup of coffee, see the sun rise over the properties joshua trees and watch the desert wildlife wake up. In the afternoon we put the cafe lights on, cook dinner for our friends, sit around the big farm table and enjoy a campfire in the corral with a glass of wine. In the summer months, soak in our oversized stock tank pool and take in the sun.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials and ceramic dinner and drinkware. The counter is custom made with plaster and natural materials so please treat it with care, no dyes or anything that will stain. Similar to the kitchen, we used natural plasters and tiles in the bathrooms to give it a warm and natural feel. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash is provided in both bathrooms.

In the cooler months, our living room is our perfect place to spend time with friends or by yourself curled up on the couches with your favorite book and a fire in the wood burning stove.

The gorgeous desert sun spills into all 3 bedrooms - you'll feel rejuvenated with top of the line queen mattresses and fresh white linens.

Plenty of outdoor space on the property with lots of fenced in land to enjoy. There is a 4 person stock pool to cool down in the desert sun- **please not this is only operating during the summer months**. There is a 6 person spa to relax and unwind. ** SPA HEATING IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $40 DAILY **
If you do not wish to use the spa please us know prior to your stay.

We do have neighbors that we love and ask that you keep noise to a minimum. The desert is a quiet place and we ask that everyone be respectful. If you're looking to have a party - this is not the house. With our master bedroom that has an en suite and two bedrooms with an additional bathroom, this is the perfect house for 4-6.

Guest access
Totally private desert ranch. Guests have exclusive access to entire house and property. Private, gated entrance and private yard. Plenty of parking once inside in the property.

Other things to note
Home Pet Policy: 🐶

Although we love pups and welcome them with open arms (🧡🐾) - we are strict with pet policies as our home has one of a kind pieces. Due to the furniture and design of the home, it is extra difficult for us if there are pet damages. We previously did not allow pets for this reason but wanted the opportunity for our guests to bring their furry family members!! With that in mind, we please ask that the rules are read and followed to ensure everyone has a great experience!

Please confirm you agree to the pet house rules:

-Fur babies not allowed on the furniture at any time (especially the couches) including the beds. If we find pet hair on the furniture there will be an extra charge.
-Fur babies can not be left unattended. If they are to be left unattended in the home, we ask that you crate them or put them in a playpen while you’re away.
-No muddy paws or wet dog in the house at any time.
-Pick up doggy do-do.
