Interaction with Guests

The house is in a leafy London village, Herne Hill, situated between wealthy, beautiful Dulwich with its famous Picture Gallery and fashionable, vibrant Brixton with its listed markets, bars and restaurants. Herne Hill is renowned for it's picturesque park, popular pubs and restaurants. Other local amenities include a newly renovated Art Deco gym with outdoor swimming pool, perfect for those hot summer days
Herne Hill station is just an 8 minute walk from the house and one train will take you to Victoria (a short walk from Buckingham Palace) or Blackfriars (next to the Tate Modern on the River) in about 9 minutes. Trains to St Pancras for EuroStar to Paris take 20 minutes. Brixton Underground Station, on the Victoria line, is a 15 minute walk from the house or a short bus ride making it easy to get to numerous locations within minutes

It was great staying with Shaku for the week. Lovely room, clean and cozy house. We would definitely come back.
We really enjoyed staying with Shaku! She's an amazing hostess, very kind and helpful. The house is absolutely beautiful, very nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms are new and clean, and the bedrooms are great too. Very good location in a nice, quiet area, just a few minutes away from both Victoria and Blackfriars stations.
I would totally recommend staying there!

Un very nice (email hidden) of dowtown 's London.
W'll come back !
The house was warm, comfortable, well equipped & very attractively presented. We were made very welcome by Shaku. The set up, a cross between b & b and self catering, suited us perfectly - we were down from Cumbria visiting our grown up children who live in London - and we had a very relaxing stay at a very reasonable price. The location is also ideal - excellent transport links, lots of cafes, bars and good pubs nearby, and a handy Sainsbury's Local store near Herne Hill station. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
