We had a gorgeous time at Annas cozy and cute Cottage. This was the cleanest holiday place I've ever been. It was just amazing and I highly recommend this wonderful cottage for your Ireland stay! We really enjoyed our time and it was so nice to be surrounded by sheeps, wake up with the sun in the fields, seeing rainbows from our little cottage window. Anna is a wonderful host, who gives you all the privacy what you want, but it also available for a small chat if you want to! The Cottage is near Castlebar, a nice little town. If you are in this area, I highly recommend a two hour drive to Connemara (Clifden) and the sandy beaches with the blue water. So - this is the perfect place for your Ireland holiday!
We had the most wonderful visit to this beautiful cottage in County Mayo.
We arrived later than we'd hoped after a gruelling ferry crossing and our hearts were lifted at the sight of this cosy, tasteful and spotlessly clean cottage. Anna had even gone the extra mile and left out some sandwiches for her weary (and very grateful) guests.
The cottage is ideally located for exploring the stunning Atlantic coast and although just a few minutes outside the bustling town of Castlebar, you feel as if you are right in the middle if the rural Irish countryside.
Anna and Dave were the most fantastic hosts, giving us great tips on things to see and do and leaving us with fresh eggs, fruit and other provisions to help make our stay comfortable (there were even some gorgeous freshly dug potatoes from their garden!)
We can highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an authentic and romantic getaway in stunning County Mayo and we cannot wait to go back!
Hi I'm Anna. I'd like to welcome you to this lovely part of Ireland. My main interests are tending to the gardens surrounding the cottage, taking my dog for walks along the quiet country lanes, & reading a good book whilst watching the sun go down in the west, over Crough Patrick. Idyllic!
