About this listing
Heartbeat from downtown, lake, bike path, boat house, festival waterfront parks, beach, and Adirondack sunsets in Vermont's most diverse neighborhood. Share my home with your own bedroom, pictured. Porch, fenced garden, deep clawfoot tub, yoga space.
A bedroom in 1925 renovated Sears-style bungalow, in a neighborhood with plenty of character and super convenient...fat cat "Jolly" aboard is certainly unique.
Lots of books, yoga/living room, piano and guitars, fenced garden, nice deep old fashioned bathtub for hot soaks, and basic kitchen amenities. Fridge and electric kettle for tea, coffee, and simple food prep. Nunyuns Cafe is right next door for localvore breakfast and lunch, 7 am to 3 pm. Parking is easy in my driveway or on street.
Interaction with Guests
Happy to offer recommendations on request with finding your way around town. My home is your home while you're here, and I can easily be found in my separate living area if you need assistance with anything.
What do I love about my neighborhood? Pretty much...Everything.
Bus is 3 doors down...Downtown is 5 blocks...Lake and bikepath is 3 blocks...extra bike on premises if you want to borrow it. Parking in driveway as well as on the street.
Other Things to Note
The room for lodgers has a full size bed, good quality firm support, as pictured in photo, for one or two people. There is also garage space for stowing bikes, snowboards or other gear. If you arrive by Megabus at UVM, best plan on calling a cab (about $7) as there is a big long hill to my house from there.
Quiet household for the most part. Just relax and enjoy your stay. If you have any questions, just ask.
