Guests have access to all shared outdoor spaces, including the tropical gardens, cenote-style pool, sun deck, outdoor lounge, and BBQ area. With only three villas at Zen Canto, the atmosphere remains intimate, and immersed in nature.
Other things to note
• Zen Canto is located about 20 km from Tulum, surrounded by nature near the local community of Macario Gomez. To fully enjoy the area, cenotes, beaches, and nearby restaurants, we highly recommend renting a car.
• Zen Canto is a peaceful, family-friendly environment and also home to our family.
• Jungle weather can be hot and humid, especially from June to October. Bedrooms are equipped with A/C for comfort.
• Wi-Fi and mobile reception are generally reliable, though occasional interruptions may happen during strong tropical storms.
• As a small family-run stay with only three villas, we focus on creating a peaceful, personal, and authentic atmosphere where guests can truly relax and experience the slower rhythm of jungle living. While we’re always happy to help when needed, Zen Canto offers a more independent and intimate experience than a traditional hotel.

Taco stands, Yucatan food, italian pizzeria, charcoal grilled chicken, even home made ice-cream shop! You can also get some basic veggies, local fruits, cold coconuts ,eggs, tortillas in the local tienditas.
The village Macario Gomez is a 600 m walk away.
The village Macario Gomez is accessed from Tulum via a narrow highway connecting all famous cenotes such as Gran Cenote, Zazilha, Coba ruins and Valladolid. There is a beautiful mayan community called Punta Laguna, where you can observe monkeys in their natural habitat!
