I am so pleased that I have chosen to stay with Isabelle and I am sure that you will be too! Isabelle has, not only a beautiful apartment centrally located in Paris, but also a beautiful and friendly family to welcome you! The apartment is very close to the Opera House and Galerie Lafayette, and it took my mother and I about only 20 mins to walk to La Louvre. The apartment itself is filled with warmth and light. You can tell from the beautiful decoration that Isabelle and her family enjoy traveling! The room is cosy with a very comfortable bed - it feels like I am coming back to my own bedroom each day after a long day of walking in Paris! Also, Isabelle serves up a delicious breakfast everyday, with yummy french croissant.
More importantly, Isabelle and her family are such warm and friendly hosts - we had many interesting chats over art, travel, work and life in general... I feel that I have learnt a lot from them. It would be lovely if I can return to Paris, and I know I will stay with Isabelle and her family again - So, please don't hesitate to stay with Isabelle if you visit Paris!
Staying with Isabelle and her family was truly a highlight of our trip to Paris. The guest room was really lovely, cozy with books and movies. It also has a really comfortable bed! Every morning Isabelle provided an absolutely delicious breakfast. The location of the apartment was great, and we were able to walk everywhere. We would absolutely stay with Isabelle again and would highly recommend it!
Isabelle is a wonderful, extremely thoughtful hostess and we felt very comfortable staying with her and her lovely family. The apartment is really well located, cosy and clean. There are tons of cool restaurants, shops and cafés in walking distance and if you don't have a clue where to eat dinner, Isabelle will have some great suggestions at hand.
We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Thanks, Isabelle!
Isabelle is such a warm and considerate host- we were so lucky to land at her place, very jet lagged and tired. It wasn't long till we felt completely at home and relaxed. Her legendary breakfast of juice fruit baguette cereal milk yoghurt croissant chocolate croissant French butter bottomless tea and coffee set us up for our big exploration of Paris with helpful tips and suggestions. Isabelle also knows where to buy truffle cheese which is to die for. Thanks Isabelle !!
Isabelle est très accueillante, et très chaleureuse. La chambre est parfaite dans un quartier très bien situé , tout est réunie pour un séjour de grande qualité. Un grand (email hidden) famille pour ce formidable séjour.
Isabelle went beyond the call of duty during my stay…
Staying with Isabelle was very practical, she was able to assist me with directions and questions I had about Paris. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, she even helped me out with my French!
Staying with Isabelle would be a great way to enjoy Paris and the apartment is located on a street full of exciting new restaurants and ‘BIO’ supermarkets!
OK... This is gonna be a long review ...
Have left Isabelle's place for a few days and I already miss her and her lovely family ...
This is my first trip to Paris. Before this trip, I heard so many bad experience about Paris - arrogant and unfriendly local people, dangerous neighborhoods ... But the moment I heard a warm and pleasant voice calling my name from a window decorated with flowers, I got the feeling that I would have a great stay in Paris.
I was right!
Isabelle is such an amazing host!!! She gave me a warm warm welcome the day I arrived - came down to open the door and helped me with my baggage.
After knowing that I love art and museums, she gave me a super detail introduction about the museums I should visit and shared with me her favorite books and DVDs regarding paintings and artists! Every morning during my stay, having breakfast she prepared and conversations about art is one of my sweet memories of Paris :)
Her family is sooooo lovely! Staying with them just like staying with a friend's family knowing for a long time!
The apartment is just as the pictures show on Airbnb. The room is super clean and full of books (amazing ...) Location is great! You can easily walk to main attractions (metro is also close by). I like this neighborhood a lot. You would find many bakeries, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, etc ... Definitely a great place for a traveler to live like a Parisian. Most importantly, I found myself had no problem walking alone at 11:00pm in this neighborhood - lots of people in bars and restaurants.
Isabelle's place is a wonderful place for you to explore Paris. Highly recommend! Many thanks again Isabelle. I have such a great start in Paris because of you. I would come back again :)
Isabelle is really an incredible host, and she surprised us positively many times since the night we got there until the last moment (remembering the Crêpes that she made)! She was so kind and patient and we appreciate the way she takes cares of all! The room is perfect, warm, very clean (for me it´s fundamental cause I have allergies.), comfortable, with some fruits, cereal bars, chocolates, mineral or filtred water... hair drier, sllipers, shampoo, liquid soap, towels, etc... and with lots of nice books and films too :). The location is really good and we suggest you to go to Le Brabant restaurant! For sure, we advise other couples to be at Isabelle´s place!
Isabelle is an excellent hostess and I strongly recommend her to everyone who wants to visit Paris. The room is just like the description, clean, bright and spacious as Paris standard. There are a sink, a shower and good storage spaces in the room. The bed is comfortable and the room is separated with other bedrooms by livingroom and kitchen, so leaving privacy for both guests and hosts. The apt's location is very central, surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. It's very safe, I walked on the street after 11pm without any worry since the neighbourhood is very alive in the night and lots of people are still on the streets that time. You can walk to Louvre, Garnier Opera, La Fayette(the biggest dept store) and other hot spots can be reached by Metro in 25 minutes.
Isabelle is very warm and helpful to her guests. I enjoyed the talks with her each morning while having the abundant breakfast she prepared for me. She gave me lots of information about the sightseeing, transportation, eateries, shopping, culture and etc. with her help, I also had some wonderful buyings. Once I was late for a Moulin Rouge show, she rushed to her computer and found a best route for me (only 5 minutes' bus time), better than my search result in (website hidden) Map. Her family is also very loving and friendly.
A small suggestion to all visitors: get a data plan and bring your smartphone with you. (website hidden) Map is a big help while walking on Paris streets. There almost no streets are straight in North American sense. On a crossroad, you can have 7 to 8 small streets towards different directions. The streets also change names very quickly. If you don't pay close attention, you will have yourself on a wrong road easily.
Overall, my experience in Paris is very pleasant. I will stay with Isabelle and her family again if I return to Paris in the future.
A beautiful haven to come back to after a long parisian day. Gorgeous room, special host. Felt very much at home.Thankyou Isabelle
