The Bunkhouse is perfect for adventurous couples/ solo travelers looking to get the most out of their visit to Yosemite! It's clean, cozy, and comfortable- equipped with all the basics of a hotel room- but for a way better price than one! (Not to mention some fresh mountain air and privacy!) After a full day hiking & exploring Yosemite, The Bunkhouse will be ready to welcome you with a hot shower & comfy Queen bed, all in a peaceful country setting under the stars.

The space
If you're coming to visit Yosemite to spend precious time in the fresh mountain air and far away from the noisy bustle of everyday life- The Bunkhouse will be exactly the escape you're looking for!

Located on the far corner of our personal property in a quiet country neighborhood, The Bunkhouse will be your comfortable crashing point after a full day enjoying the great outdoors.

Our property is peaceful and serene, with horses in the back pasture and our friendly Border Collies dogs running around the yard.

When you step into The Bunkhouse, we hope you feel like you've stepped back into a by-gone time: when life was slower and simpler. Ever dream of being a cowboy when you were young? Well, we still do, and we brought our western lifestyle into The Bunkhouse with rustic touches amidst the modern amenities. Just like the cowboys of old, we'll provide you with a comfortable place to kick off your boots and "hit the hay" after a full day in the great outdoors. :)


What The Bunkhouse offers:
- A comfortable Queen size bed with fresh, clean bedding
- A kitchenette with a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee pot
- Some basic dishes
(note: there is NO cookstove or oven. But who wants to cook while on vacation anyways?? There's plenty of places to eat in the nearby town of Mariposa)
- A large, flat screen TV with some local channels
- A mini-split heating/cooling unit which does a GREAT job at keeping the temperature very comfortable
- A hot shower and fresh towels in the bathroom
- Your own Private driveway to the Bunkhouse
- As much privacy as you want- We are always happy for the chance to meet and welcome our guests, but if you prefer total privacy we can arrange a self check in. :)

We are also horse friendly, and have free parking space for a trailer- message for more details!

The entire Bunkhouse is your private space, and you can enjoy the yard out the back with peaceful oak trees and boulders, too.

Other things to note
*There are dogs and horses on this property.*
The dogs have free range and may bark in the night as they chase various country critters like deer and raccoons, but they are very friendly!
The horses can be admired and pet from behind the fence, but for liability reasons we will not allow anyone into the horse pasture. Though they are sweet and friendly, they are still large, unpredictable animals who may be easily spooked. (and no feeding please!)
