A bright, quiet, charachter- filled one bedroom, living and dining Bondi Beach pad for you. With all new kitchen and bathroom.
The apartment is perfectly located in a quiet pocket between two of Sydneys' most famous beaches.
It is in small block with level access right near the waves, coastal walk and all the good things of Bondi.
Fully and joyfully furnished, would best suit a single or couple who wants a peaceful retreat that is close enough to wander to all the action and an easy bus or train ride into the city and beyond.
Cafes and wine bars abound, restuarants, grocery stores, health-food stores, fresh fish shop, bakery and butcher are all very close if you choose to get culinary in the kitchen.
I will leave my special recommendations for you in a file so you can make the most of local area, although just walking out the door and down the road to the beach will be the first thing you do, grab a great Australian coffee and a muffin on the way and just sit and absorb it (website hidden). There are laundry facilities in the building, No Wifi but I use a Telstra dongle when im working from home - cheap and reliable.
Please respect the apartment and the neighbours and no smoking inside, although out in the back garden is fine if you discard your butts thoughtfully.
The fittings of the apartment are a little special so please use one of the cutting boards provided in the kitchen - dont cut directly on the surface of the bench as it will destroy it.
Use the place as your would your own, enjoy it, keep it clean and please let us know if anything is broken!
Monica's place is amazing. A lovely flat - more spacious than it looks in the photos - and everything you'll need for a stay in famous Bondi Beach! It's light, airy and has a great feel about it, as Monica has some fantastic artwork all over the place.
You are literally minutes from the beach - just a quick walk down and right straight into the heart of Bondi. Go down and left, and you get to Hall Street with it's great restaurants and bars. Go up, and you're on Bondi road - agin more great bars and restaurants - definitely try upstairs at The Corner House.
This was our first time in Bondi and Monica's place made an amazing centre for us to explore. Great travel links too.
We loved our time here - thanks!
Everything went smoothly for my US staff member - he loved being so close to the action in such a quintessentially Sydney area.
Lovely, peaceful place to stay in Bondi if you planning a short stay or need a place to platform into life in Bondi. Contained all the little things that you need when you're away from home and some shelves and coat rack for your things. Communication with Monica was quick and easy. A haven indeed.
A truly lovely apartment that was bright & welcoming upon arrival & that made us feel instantly at home. Brilliant location literally 7/8 mins walk from Bondi Beach & centre. To get back to apartment would be longer as uphill all the way and this might not be suitable for all but it's great for the fitness! The bus stop to go to Bondi Junction & Sydney is at the end of the road (approx 100mts) with the stop for the 333 (express bus) a further 2 mins away down hill. The apartment is on ground floor but was in a very quiet block which seemed to be mainly residential as opposed to holiday lets and was therefore very peaceful even over the Xmas & New Year period. The block is situated on a corner but again there was very little traffic noise as one of the roads was a no through road. The accommodation was perfect for us and would also suit a single person, there was ample storage space for clothes with shelving units, drawers & small cupboards in the bedroom and a hanging rail in the hallway which worked OK. Would definitely book again as we felt that it was our home whilst we stayed there.
We did not get to meet Monica personally, but we received a warm welcome from her friend Zoe, who even brought us some fruit and flowers and helped us to get familiar with the apartment. We had a pleasant stay in a beautifully decorated apartment.
Monica's description of her flat is a bright and happy haven is perfect. It has a very peaceful feel to it, is beautifully maintained and has all you need. The location is great, being a five minute walk from the wonder and madness of Campbell Parade, which is the main drag of Bondi. And its just a few minutes up the hill to the shops and restaurants of Bondi Rd.
I had a very happy month.
