Very friendly and perfect size room for two. My wife and I found it to be a very pleasant experience and John was very knowledgeable of the area which is right in the middle of everything. I would highly recommend a stay here!
I had a great stay at John and Suchada's place. Communication with them was smooth and the location of their flat was just what I was after. I only had two days/one night in Dublin and was out walking around both days so their central location worked perfectly. There is some traffic noise but it wasn't enough to keep me awake, and I am a pretty light sleeper. John was happy to give me some tips on the city when I arrived which turned out to be very useful the next morning when I ducked into the free National History Museum to avoid some morning rain. The room was exactly what I was after, clean, friendly, central location. Thanks
John met at the gate. What a great location. John spent time explaining the Dublin sights and provided a lot of brochures. The room was great. Comfortable bed, very clean, great view. Made to feel very welcome. Would stay again next visit to Dublin.
My husband and I were met by Suchada's husband John as we arrived. He helped us with our luggage and got us situated in the apartment. They provided us with brochures and maps for Dublin and John gave us a run-down of all the important things and must-sees. We stayed 3 nights and and were out most of the time, but were very comfortable during our stay. The location is ideal for walking Dublin. John and Suchada helped us with information regarding our upcoming stops, and went out of the way to help us. Highly recommend.
This was a great place to stay in central Dublin--everything I wanted to see was in walkable distance. Communication with the hosts was excellent, including how to get from the airport to the city, and John kindly met me at the bus-stop. They also had a wealth of information available, including specific information on sites to do with my special area of research--James Joyce. I wish I could have stayed longer, as I only had 24 hours because I was en route to the south of Ireland. The sound of the bells from Christchurch is actually delightful, but if it bothers anyone, then earplugs would mute the sound while sleeping. One cannot expect silence in the centre of cities! It was a pleasure to stay here and I would certain return.
This was a great experience! Perfect location, very close to city centre. The host, John was very helpful, he picked me up at the bus station when I arrived, let me know the nice places to visit in a short time. The room was comfortable, with a nice view in Christchurch, with a private little bathroom.
Suchada and John travel to Thailand every year, and love to meet interesting people from all over the world. Suchada speaks fluent Thai and is about to open her first beauty salon in Dublin after running her own salon in Thailand. John is an IT contractor, and running enthusiast. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, and to giving you any help and advice to make your stay in Dublin wonderful. See you soon.
