    It is a big zoo with many kinds of tropical animals from Asia, Africa and Australia. Lately they also have Penguins. It is just 15 minutes driving (by car/motorbike) from Villa Alicia.

    Used to be the center of Yogya in the 16th century. There are still old palace, old mosque and many old houses of rich people during that period. Now it is the center of silver handicraft industries

    Located in the center of the city nearby the Sultan Palace, it is an amusement park as well as an education center for kids. No entrance fee except to the 4D cinemas. Best to come in the morning

    Parangtritis is a beautiful beach in the south of Yogyakarta. But you are not allowed to swim in the beach as the weave is high and dangerous.Next to it is Parangkusumo beach,famous for sand boarding

    It is a fisherman beach. You can buy fresh fish from the fisherman or from the fish market. Many food stalls are available to make your fish ready anything you like it. Swimming is not recommended.

    It is a small fisherman beach. There are many food stalls serving fishes fresh from the sea. Next to Baron beach is the Kukup and Krakal beaches. You can walk up a small hill to the other beaches.
  • Pantai Indrayanti

    It is a beautiful fisherman beach. You can swim safely here. There are also some food stalls restaurants serving fresh seafood. You can also enjoy the sunset here. No public bus come to this area
