The main street is the street of the same name Pigneto zigzagging runs from a few hundred meters outside the Porta Maggiore, about half of Bullicante Water Street, occupying a good portion of the entire territory of the District VII.
The name "Pigneto" derives from the presence of a long row of pines, planted by the family Caballini, placed along the wall of the eighteenth-century villa Minions.
Charming studio apartment located right on the pedestrian area of Pigneto, in a really nice building, the neighborhood is very cool and full of restaurants, wine bars and clubs, is also close to the center of Rome. The apartment is equipped with wi - fi, TV, washing machine and kitchen. Perfect for 2 people thanks to the presence of a sofa bed in living room, bathroom with shower. From the terrace of the apartment you can enjoy a really nice view over the pedestrian area. E 'equipped with air conditioning and heating, smoking is permitted inside the apartment.
Guests will also enjoy a Technics turntable with 12 LPs and a DVD player with a varied choice of films to make the most of their stay.
We had a very nice stay in the microhouse. The apartment itself is tiny but practical and cute. The terrace is simply awesome.
The neighborhood is pretty cool. It has an alternative vibe to it with lots of young people and immigrants. Some corners might seem a bit dodgy but generally the streets are full of live. There are plenty of bars around the corner and a market in the streets in the morning.
Giuly is very helpful and uncomplicated. She immediately answered whenever we contacted her.
The only negative point: WLAN in the apartment was not workingduring our stay.
Beautiful view from the massive terrace, lovely studio apartment perfect for a couple, nice neighbours and a really lively and fun area. Perfect!
Giuliana's studio was very cool, placed on top of a building on the pedestrian area of Pigneto. After climbing the steps up to the studio we got rewarded with a splendid urban view and lovely terrazza. Giuliana is very welcoming and helpful. Pigneto really comes to life in the evening and night, a lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy. In the day it's nice to walk around and look at street art, drink coffee in caffés. It is not very close to walk to the historical center, but there are good connections with busses and tram. While in Rome, stay here :)
Giulia's place was perfect - great young neighbourhood, lovely, charming and clean flat with a fantastic terrace and view. Giulia was a wonderful and helpful host, we couldn't have wished for anything better. Thanks!
Giuliana is a very nice and kind person. Very reactive to our questions and Giuliana is flexible for the checkin and checkout, this was much appreciated.
The house is located in a very surprising area (Pigneto), not yet known to toursits guide but by italian and it very nice to hang out, eat and drink with true romanians, good prices and quality.
Lots of bus are in the area and a subway is coming (line C) in 2014.
The house is clean, with a lot of furnitures. The terrasse is a must (even if we did not use it a lot due to the weather :) )
Giuliana is a really nice person, she welcomed us really late in the evening in a very friendly way. The neighboorhood is full of life with many bars in the street but as the appartment is on the last floor there was no noise. The studio is really confortable, we didn't miss anything, and the terass was really a bonus.
I highly recommend her appartment!
Giuliana's place was great! Small but big enough for two. And the flat is on a fantastic roof top terrace. There is also a vinyl player which was a great bonus :)
