Paulo's apartment was just as described in the listing. With 5 beds in 4 rooms, it was a great spot for our group of travelers. Wonderful location for exploring the city in the heart of the old city. Like Paulo mentioned, it does get loud at night considering there is a good amount of night life on the street. But if you're ok with that it's as convenient as can be

The apartment is located exactly in the center of Bairro Alto. Perfect location for nightlife and to visit the city as well. Close to tram and metro stops. Rooms are a little bit small and not really furnished. Everything else was ok. I recommend for big groups that want to visit the city and enjoy nightlife.

My friends and I had booked paulo's flat the day before our arrival.(We had some problem with another flat and had to deal with airbnb to find a place in urgency. ) Paulo's appartment is very well located (close to the city center in the middle of bairro alto) and good for a group of friends (Not if you're looking for quiet neighborhood). Many people in the street at night during the week end. It was easy to get the keys from his sister who lives close and was helpfull. Good place to go!

Originally Paulo double booked us in the airbnb which is something I have never heard and never experienced which made me upset. However he did manage to be very friendly throughout the trip as he paid for our taxi service to and from the apartment and printed out our boarding passes. The location is amazing in Bairro Alto as there are so many bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk. The only bad thing about that is the noise is loud from people on the streets until early in the morning. The beds were decent and the portable bed actually broke on us in the beginning but there were more then enough blankets and sheets to make it comfortable. The shower in on of the WC kept flooding and became cold at times when you were in there. It was a great location and a decent apartment.

Very good location and convenient flat for a family like us (6 adults and a child). Very clean and functional, at walking distance of the city centre. Although the zone is quite noisy at night during weekend, that was fine for us as we were out quite late for dinner and drinks. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly thanks to Paulo. We spend a great weekend !

The location of this apartment is great: in the heart of Bairro Alto surrounded by all its great restaurants, bars and little shops. Paulo and his dad were always easy available via email/sms and helped us a lot.

I was born in the core of Lisbon, and almost all my life i lived in Lisbon "Lisboa", after my degree i travelled a lot and all time when i arrived to my city i was all time surprised with his sun light and his particularities (its better not talk about the food and coffe) and specially thinking how on the XXI centurie Lisboa merges and links the old with the new, the river and the sea with the 7 hills, the great history with a old country that is starting again not on the best place, on this New Economy!

After working on my first company on New Technologies and Publishing i has a paixon that was Lisboa and there Historic Neighborhoods, so i satarted i new project based on them and on the art, paintings and technologie and i started with the opening of two Shops/Cyber caffe/art galleries... Years passed and i remodelated all again and opened a bar inspired on Lisbon and my online projects that i started at 9 years ago are still online and waiting for more time to work on them ((URL HIDDEN) (URL HIDDEN) but i started a new project (URL HIDDEN) based on short term rental of apartments and now i have five apartments to rent, 4 on Bairro Alto and a new one near the beach and with a garden.
I try to be now a lithe ambassador of my country creating a concept of housing that can attract more people to Portugal, and apply my knowledge and experience in International Relations (my degree), hoping that you can have good days abroad and to be better and better year by year on my offers.
I hope you can enjoy assuring when you travel you know that you are secure on the reserves and the my apartments that have not so big rooms, but many of them and in the most central part of Lisbon, and that appears that you entered in the daytime in a litte Medieval Village and in the night you are in the most Trendy and IN nightlife of Europe, with more than 100 restaurants, 100 bars and shops and traditional commerce in less than 50 litle streets.
That is Lisboa and Portugal!
