What a wonderful find. The place was clean, the bed magnificent and the little touches of champagne, Easter eggs & toiletries just wonderful. And I loved the deep bath. Very nice & I would definitely recommend.
Janine's place was a little gem tucked away in Portarlington and perfect for a weekend away. The four poster bed, chocolates, fully equipped kitchen, heating & selection of DVDs made it a very comfortable place to stay. Janine herself was so helpful prior to our stay, recommending some great eateries ( Portarlington Bakehouse a must!) and even helped me with finding a beauty salon. Thanks so much for having us, we wouldn't hesitate to come back!
Billie's Holiday was absolutely perfect for our needs in Portarlington, everything was as described by Janine, only it was even better than that!
Finding the place was easy and there was no fuss with our checking in - the door was left open for us - it's that safe there!. Everything that was needed for a 29 day stay was there. It took about an hour and a half to feel that we had lived there for a very long time.
The first thing we saw was a very nice note welcoming us and a big box of tea bags with milk in the 'fridge - just the job for us Brits after a long journey.
The place was immaculately clean - something that would have put us off immediately if it had been otherwise.
Janine proved to be a superb host. We knew that she was around (she lives next door) but she gave us complete privacy, just popping around to check that we had everything that we needed and when she left clean linen (on Sundays) there was always a little thoughtful gift left on top - she really is a lovely lady.
Whenever we went sight seeing or visiting during our stay we would always regard our return to the apartment as 'coming home' we really did feel comfortable there and now that we are back home in Wales we really miss Billie's Holiday and Janine. We'll be back for sure - as long as our kids remain in Portarlington!
Thanks Janine for making our fabulous holiday just perfect! xx
We absolutely loved staying in Janine’s place. It was spotless and had everything we needed for the weekend. She had a collection of brochures of things that you can do in The Bellarine and also menus from the local eateries to help us out. We were pleasantly surprised with the chocolates, too. We hope to stay in this accommodation again the next time we are in Portarlington as it is well-located – quick drive to the shops and the beach. Thanks again, Janine!
Very cosy and clean, well located. Would definitely stay again. Janine was very accommodating with arrangements leading up to our stay, and the chocolates were a lovely touch. Thank you
Thanks Janine, we had a great stay. Cute, clean little apartment fully equip with everything we needed. We Cooked up a storm of seafood the 1st night. Matty loved the Beatles puzzle, but didn't quite get to finish it. We will have to stay longer next time :-)
Loved the accommodation, had everything we needed and more. Clean and close to everything didn't need the car to get around. Had plenty of clean towels and chocolate was a nice touch, would defiantly stay again.
