Modern, trendy decor, real old-port style loft with high ceilings and huge windows. In the very heart of Old MTL. Short walking distance to some of the best restos, nightclubs, historical sites and family activities in the city, most no more than a block or two away. One block east of the historic Place Jacques-Cartier. Close to everything but still quiet (you'll hear the clip-clop of the horse-drawn caleches and the bells of Bonsecours chapel from the sofa). Doesn't get more central than this!

The space
Automated, voice activated entertainment (Netflix/Roku etc.) and mood lighting (Google home). Beautifully furnished space with local artist's work and a selection of my photographs. Small balcony with seating for 2. Washer/dryer in the hall. Fully equipped kitchen with oven and range. Free parking available (see "Other things to note" below for details).

Guest access
The entire loft is yours. Access to the small balcony through the living room. Access to the laundry closet in the hall. There is NO roof access in the building.

Other things to note
PARKING: (updated) You will have a pass to put on your dashboard (don't forget it) that will let you park in the lot next door on Bonsecours street. *However* this is unsupervised outdoor city parking, so If you prefer a little more security (and a warm car in the winter) I would strongly recommend the indoor paid (25$/day approx.) parking lot accessible by car on "Champs de Mars" street (next block north) with pedestrian access via the building across the street from the loft.  * * Please avoid leaving any objects of value in the car ** (no matter where you park in the city). You are 100% responsible for your vehicle and its contents.

The old port of Montreal is a popular tourist destination, and depending on the season it can be difficult to find street parking. Stay away from the parking areas that have a red square with a number [3] on the sign as these are designated resident parking areas, There is metered parking available and there is an app (P$ Mobile service) you can download for your phone that you can use to pay and manage parking. There is also free overnight street parking one block east (turn right out the door) on the overpass.
