This beautiful stone house of the country, in the family for several generations, is located in the middle of vineyards near a 12th century country house. A patio with swimming pool, with the shelter of the glances, gives an additional character.

The House is really great!!! Charming, quiet and pretty nice! Dom and Claude were so nice and welcomed us with beer, wine, vegetables, fruits, bread, babypool, ... It was just great :-) We found everything in the house we needed and were able to relax in the hammock or close to the pool while the kids were strolling around in the wineyards or feeding the goat! The lake and river close to the House were a great alternative when it was to windy at the beach! Also the beach Vendres Plage (appr. 25 minutes by car) was just great!!! Thanks a lot Dom and Claude for 2 fantastic weeks! Hope to see you again in your great house...

We stayed at Dominique's and Claude's house for 10 days in August with our two kids and my Parents. We had a fantastic time. The house oozes charm with a very large front garden, ideal for sunny breakfasts, and a walled garden and pool to the rear. All rooms are high ceilinged and spacious and importantly we found the beds comfortable. Dominique and Claude warmly greeted us upon arrival even though we were a bit early and showed us around the house, explained how bits and pieces worked and gave us some ideas of things to do in the area. They seemed very pleased to receive us and answer any questions we had. When I contacted them during our stay they were equally helpful. They left us with a selection of fresh fruit and veg, tea and coffee and a bottle of Rose from Domain Castan down the road. The house is situated in quiet countryside outside of Beziers amongst the vineyards and a short walk to the River Orb. Cazoule les Beziers and Murviel les Beziers are a 5 minute drive, both have supermarkets and petrol stations, boulangeries, pharmacies etc. Beziers is 20 minutes away. We had plenty of things to do from beach days to visiting Carcassone, Narbonne and Beziers, from walking along and picnicking by the Canal Du Midi to canoeing down the river Orb for a day, from lounging by the pool to taking the kids to a high ropes course, from relaxing by the pool to visiting Domain Castan and learning about their wines and then spending a fortune (!). In summary we had a great time, the house was lovely, Dominique and Claude were charming and helpful, the countryside was beautiful, the weather was gorgeous and we had loads of things to do. I fully recommend this property. Nathan 18/08/17

Sévignac le Haut is a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty to do unless you'd prefer to just sit back and relax. The house is beautiful, full of French charm and charisma and is immaculately presented with a great pool to jump in and refresh yourself from the day's heat. We had great fun with our children swimming in the nearby river and jumping in off the rocks. Likewise there were numerous beaches all great for the family with a 30 minute drive away. We also visited nearby Narbonne as well as Béziers which has plenty of interesting sites to see. On top of the fantastic accommodation Dominique was a fantastic host. She gave us lots of information before we arrived helping us plan our trip. On arrival she greeted us to make sure we were happy with everything and to show us around the property. She made herself available to answer any questions during our stay and helped in any way she could. We really couldn't have asked anymore of her or her husband Claude who was very much a part of the hosting team. Without doubt we would revisit and we thank Dominique and Claude for helping make our holiday as enjoyable and as memorable as it has been.

Beautiful, charming, spacious and functional house in between the vineyards. Calm environment and at the same time relatively close to local stores, cities and beaches. We received a very warm welcome from Dominique, who successfully tries to ensure that her guest have everything at hand for a nice holiday.

From the moment we were greeted by Dominique and Claude we felt at home. Their welcome was so warm and generous, with delicious local produce for our first lunch (including the wine from the vineyard behind the house) reinforced by their insistence that we used everything available to their family. This included everything we needed for our two grandchildren. The house is lovely, an authentic and comfortable French country home with a warm atmosphere. We loved the fact that it was full of books, flowers, music and interesting art, including some of Claude's own. Our days were peacefully spend with breakfast on the front terrace, siestas in the shade of the courtyard and dinner there in the evening. Our grandchildren loved exploring the vineyards, going across to meet the neighbour's goat and watching the house martens nesting in the eaves. While our family enjoyed trips with the children to the sea at Valras plage, we preferred the peace of the house but did join them for visits to some interesting villages, especially Saint Guilhem le Desert as well as the river beach at the Pont du Diable. While the pool was a little fresh on arrival, due to a very cool May, within a couple of days it was refreshing in the heat of the day. This is by far our most successful booking with airbnb.

A truly beautiful home, surrounded by vineyards and neighboured by an12th century bastide. Spacious and chic, we loved our time here and our two young children spent many a happy hour in the pool. Our host, Dominique, made every effort to make us feel welcome - from fresh flowers in every room to a potty for my daughter! What a wonderful find - we'd recommend both the house and the area unreservedly.
