Siboney is an awesome host. I met her roommate when I arrived and showed me where to go and what to do. Though we didn't get to meet due to our schedules, she always kept in contact with me and answered any questions. Great location if you visit San Antonio because it's a 5 min drive into town. I highly recommend Siboney and would love to book again next time I visit San Antonio.
Siboney was a great host, and the listing definitely delivered everything I hoped it would. The studio was clean, cozy, and very accommodating. Many places of interest within walking distance including downtown. Everything you'd ever need is provided, thanks for a great stay!
We found a gem by selecting to stay at this place right outside of downtown San Antonio. They were great accommodations and we were even provided extra towels considering we would not have room to bring along extras. Communication with our host was easy and made me at ease about the stay.
In the heat of Texas, the accommodation was not the coolest. With there being only one window unit, during the day the loft was quite warm and made using the bathroom and taking a shower no fun. However, that kept us out and about for the majority of the day.
Unfortunately, the attic gets warm since it is Summer in Texas. Money is being saved for a mini split unit but a proper AC unit will cool a place 20 degrees below the outside temperature. With 100 degree weather in Texas it is difficult to find an attic in a historic home that can cool much lower than 75. Thank you for the feedback!
First and foremost, this property is located in a great neighborhood, close to downtown which is within walking distance or by bus! The loft is lovely however the entrance is located around the back where we had to walk through unkempt and unmanicured path, Space is lovely and air conditioned, bed's comfortable and bathroom is great! However the couch bed is less desirable and uncomfortable Siboney, provided snacks, tea coffee, fridge and recommendations of restaurants, and places to see in San Antonio which was a great help! San Antonio was lovely!
Very lovely set up!!!! We enjoyed it so much we spent the entire evening in the loft instead of going downtown. The amenities are awesome and you definitely feel at home away from home. Papito was a friendly surprise and made us feel more at home on the back porch. Definitely worth the stay in historical south San Antonio.
This house is in a very nice neighborhood with cute houses all over the place. We were within walking distance of a very nice trail and a few coffee shops. The rooms we had access too were great! Everything was clean, rustic, well put-together, and welcoming. We spent half of one of our vacation days in the house just enjoying the space. I would highly recommend anyone visiting San Antonio to plan their stay here!
The neighborhood took us by surprise, but not in a bad way. We were greeted with historic homes--some stately, some in need of some work. We quickly learned that this was true for much of San Antonio. It wears its history on its sleeve, and it's really, really cool. Siboney's home was just what we needed. Bright, fresh, (AIR-COOLED!!!) and very clean.
We didn't do much but sleep there, but there were plenty of amenities if we would have decided to stay in one night. Complimentary snacks and soda, a nice big screen TV, DVD player and some DVDs.
The last thing I'll say is location. It's close to everything.
We will be back...soon!
