Got cabin fever? Wanna change cabins for a while? Stone's Throw Cottage is not your average vacation rental. Check out our reviews! Completely renovated and furnished in November 2018. It's a comfy, cozy little hideaway. One of our guests described it as "a diamond in the rough"! 5 miles from Sierra Nevada brewery!

The space
Stone's Throw Cottage is in a rural setting, just a "stone's throw" from some pretty neat places. It's less than 6 miles from Sierra Nevada Brewery, Burning Blush Brewery, Bold Rock Cidery, Asheville Airport, WNC Ag Center, and Mills River Brewery. It's also close to the Biltmore Estate, 12 Bones Barbecue and Brewery, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC Arboretum, and downtown Asheville. Completely renovated in 2018, it is a delightfully decorated and well-appointed cottage. Enjoy the secluded hot tub on the back deck and the 65" smart TV in the living room. My wife and I live 3 miles away and do all the cleaning and maintenance ourselves so we can make sure it's done right.

Entertainment - 65" smart TV purchased new in Nov. of 2018, Hulu no ads plus live TV (connected to our account) and Roku channel. If your cell phone has the capability, you can "cast" or mirror whatever you can watch on your cell phone to the TV. Or you can use your own account to access Sling, Google Play Movies and TV, ESPN, Youtube TV, Youtube, Netflix, Vudu, Prime video, HBO Now, 4K Spotlight, Stingray Qello, Pandora, Firefox, or Disney+.

The 4-person hot tub will always be on and hot for you. We use FROG@ease to keep our hot tub clean and safe for you. It combines minerals with SmartChlor technology to kill bacteria two ways. Very safe, and much less chlorine smell!

There enough off-road parking for 4 vehicles.

My wife, Sheryl, and I built a new home in 2006, a move of about 3 miles. When we moved out of our former home, we decided to keep it and rent it as a vacation rental - Willow Haven. We kept it pretty much the way it was when we lived in it, so it really feels like home. We have been blessed since the beginning with super renters who have consistently taken good care of our home. In 2016 we switched from another vacation rental website to Airbnb which proved to be a very pleasant and profitable experience. In November of 2018 we purchased another home to rent as a vacation rental - Stone's Throw Cottage, which is also listed on Airbnb. Our first guests arrived on Dec. 21, a wonderful couple. We are looking forward to another fantastic vacation rental experience! Well, we've done it again! We just bought a third vacation rental house in October of 2020! Remember When Cottage was built in 1947. We have completely remodeled it and decorated it in retro 40s and 50 style. You'll love it! Thanks to Airbnb and to all our wonderful guests!
