The back garden gate opens onto a canal & pedestrian walkway leading you, in minutes, either to the city, Claddagh beach, Galway Cathederal or the city's NUIG university.

Galway is full of water, whether in the rivers, canals, beaches or in the skies! Yes, it rains alot but its worth it! The house was built in 1928 but recently renovated and has a lot of luxury comforts: great music system, wifi, amazingly big bath, home cinema screen 8Ft (2.4M), peat turf fire, LGBT friendly, great hosts!!! ;0) who love meeting new people.

Pam and Par were amazing and definitely a highlight of our trip. Their place is adorable and quirky in all the right ways. Location was fantastic, the place was clean, the hosts were welcoming and three bed was comfortable. I really hope I have the chance to meet them again.
Pam and Par are the ultimate foodies and have all of the best places in Galway to eat worked out for us. We had a great stay and a lovely " last supper" with them. Great advice for any trips we wanted to do around the region and even made us a CD for our travels. We would recommend their fabulously located house to any one.
The accommodations were fantastic, esp the huge claw foot tub! Breakfast was just right with fruit scones and a selection of cereals. Best of all...Par and Pam couldn't of been more pleasant! They were extremely knowledgeable and eager to offer advice and answer all questions. They even went as far to make us CDs with music they love for our long ride to Doolin. We would recommend them to anyone!
from the first meeting with Pam then Par we where put right at ease and made to feel like friends and engaged in all house hold gatherings. We both shared what can only be decided as a fantastic time and would highly recommend there house to all Airb@b'ers (feed the birds 2pence a bag u know who ur xxx )
Pam and Parish are such wonderful hosts! Their home is welcoming and very relaxed. The master bedroom has the best bed we'd ever slept in and the kitchen and family/friends hang out room was a perfect place to feel at home, cook, chat, read (they have a very interesting collection of books) and laugh (a lot). It's a sunny home both in the beautiful light that comes through the many windows and the warmth that Pam and Par excude. The neighborhood is close to everything making an easy walk to just about everywhere, yet quiet and away from the crowds. We miss them already and hope to return for a visit again.
Our trip was made perfect because we were staying with Par & Pam! As I was there for a patchwork festival, I didn't get to see much of either of them but would go back just to do that! P & P are fabulous hosts, their home is welcoming, bright and clean. The bed in the Master bedroom is divine (wish I could've slept in longer!) and the open plan living/dining room is a wonderfully cosy and bright place to sit & enjoy a cuppa or a chat. Their recommendations for places to go were spot on and it was great being well within walking distance of so much activity in Galway. We would love to stay with them again and would highly recommend them as hosts. Elita & Paul
What lovely hosts Pam and Par were! They were a wealth of information about Galway and Ireland in general. Thank you for a lovely time!
Par & Pam's place was a bit out of our budget, but we went for it because it's the people that make the trip. Boy are we glad we did! Our 2 night stay with P&P was one of the highlights of our trip. Galway is a fun, vibrant city and they are just a few minutes walk to the bustling downtown. There are great restaurants just around the corner from their house. The house itself was cheerful and full of love. I loved the clean, modern lines with bright pops of color -- you could vividly see both of their aesthetics intertwining. We stayed in the master bedroom. It was clean, cheerful, and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi worked great all over the house. Beautiful breakfast. The living area is relaxing and so nice to just chill out in. We enjoyed our conversations with Par and Pam, and got to meet Par's parents who are also very lovely. All in all, I hope to go back to Galway sometime just to hang out with these amazing people. 5 stars all the way!
I really enjoyed my stay at Par and Pam's home, it's beautifully done and they were fantastic hosts. The house is in a great location, very close to the center of the city and with the canal just behind the house with a lovely sidewalk next to it. I highly recommend staying at Par and Pam's home during your time in Galway!
We had a lovely time at Par & Pam's! Firstly, the house is incredibly wonderful. It's just as the photos show but in real life it has such a wonderfully welcoming feel. Every splash of color and fun design really make the place.
We arrived late in the afternoon and happened to luck out with some gorgeous weather. Par was in the back garden enjoying the afternoon and asked us to join him for some great snacks (fresh tomatoes, feta, delicious bread) and his famous coffee. We happily obliged and spent a wonderful bit of time getting to know one another and sharing travel stories.
Later in the evening, after touring Galway, we arrived back to the house and spent some time enjoying Par's great musical talents and getting to know him a bit better. It was a lovely way to wrap up the day.
The room itself was very comfortable, we slept great! The bathrooms are quite beautiful and modern. I only wish we'd had time to enjoy that great big tub! When we awoke the next day Par had set out a quick breakfast for us of cereals, fruit and bread (with more of his great coffee!). It was the perfect wrap-up to our stay.
Hopefully we'll get the chance to see Galway again and stay with Par and Pam once more!
