Newly renovated (from former hay barn) private apartment adjacent to 100 year old family home. Facilities are modest and decor is simple, but it is clean, comfortable and excellently located very close walking distance to Bled town centre and lake.
The Green Apartment is a clean, basic space with lots of natural light.
Open kitchen/living room area with basic kitchen utensils, fridge, kettle, sink and 2 hotplates.
Living area has TV and double sofabed and cupboard.
Bedroom 1 has double bed and small cupboard.
Bathroom has WC, washbasin and shower.
Bedroom 2 is a cosy sleeping platform (also with double bed) reached by the open staircase from the living room. PLEASE NOTE SMALL CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED VERY CLOSELY ON THIS STAIRCASE.
There are enough beds for 6 people, but not a lot of floor/storage space, so not recommended for longer stays for groups with more than 4 adults. For groups of 6 or more you could consider renting both the Green and Yellow Apartments as they are right next door to each other. Or check out our private hostel, The Pink Apartment, which is a 7 bed dorm with 2 bathrooms.
The Green Apartment has its own private outdoor area (accessed from living area) with table and chairs for outdoor dining, weather permitting!
Free parking - we have some space in front of the house. During the summer season this is sometimes full but there is a free, safe public carpark just 150 metres away.

We stayed at Bojan and Laura's place in Bled during the Easter Holiday and had a great time! The space was large enough for the two of us and could have easily fit four. The apartment was conveniently located in Bled and bars, restaurants and attractions were very accessible by foot. Bojan even provided us with hiking recommendations which worked at great!
It was amazing. Bojan is a good guy and the apartamento is clear and next to the center. I recomend the city and the apartament
Great stay in an amazing apartment, perfect for our needs. Easily fit 4x people as advertised. Well heathed, lovely shower, nice outdoor space, facilities to make tea and a quick breaky, minutes from the bus stop (and the ski bus) and a couple of nice restaurants and bars. There was also a nice track leading up to the castle just behind the apartment. Bit of a bargain really.
Laura met us upon check-in and was really nice, gave us a map and highlighted a few of the Bled hotspots. She was also in contact before our stay to answer any questions and offer the option of a transfer from the airport (we'd already booked with someone else sadly), and then during the stay she was available to advise about the checkout procedure.
Would happily book again, and already considering for next March.
The Green apartment was very tidy and clean. We enjoyed our stay there and were greeted by Marijeta. She was very nice and gave us all that we needed. The kitchen was too small for us for cooking (2 adults 2 kids) but overall it was a very pleasant stay. We will definitely come back to Bled!
The green apartment is tiny but well located in the old Bled village close to the castle and the lake. We spent 4 nights with our children aged 2 and 5 years old. Kitchen is a little bit unequipped for young kids (no microwave) but the apartment is clean and nice. Given all the positive comments, we were a little bit surprised by the cold welcome from Laura. Maybe it was a bad day like we all have sometimes or something did not work with us. Unfortunately during our trip in Bled, it rained a lot and our clothes and the apartment were humid, so we tried to turn on the heating to dry the kids clothes. Central heating did not work so we asked by texto if we could get some heating the last day ; Laura did not answered at all while we used this way of communication before with quick answers. We spent the last day in a humid and bit cold apartment but enjoyed Bled and its beautiful area. We will however keep a good souvenir from Bled. Maybe this apartment was not for a family like ours but for sure it will suit others.
Hi Frédérique unfortunately we did not meet in person, it was my sister-in-law Marijeta that you met. I am very sorry for the negatives in your experience. I did not receive your text otherwise of course I would have answered. We do not use the central heating in August but we would have been happy to provide you with some electric heaters and to dry the clothes for you if I had got your message or if you had asked downstairs. I am glad you otherwise liked Bled and had a nice time. Kind regards, Laura
The apartment is fantastically located to get to Lake Bled - just a short stroll down the hill and it's the perfect base from which to explore all that the area has to offer. Very clean and comfortable. As mentioned in the listing, it's quite a small space with not much storage but for us and our two teenagers it was great. NB The stairs up to one of the bedrooms are very steep.
We felt really welcome in the perfectly located appartment. Bojan gave us some really good tips for things to do in and around Bled. The appartment had two good sized bed rooms and a nice bathroom. We had some bad weather while staying in Bled, but the appartment comes with a nice terrrace that is lovely to have breakfast on when the weather is nice. Overall a very nice place to discover the mountains.

Bojan is a mountain guide, kayak instructor and babysitter from Bled and Laura is an ex-coach driver originally from Scotland. We live happily in Bled with our two small boys Miha and Dylan. You will either meet us or Bojan's sister Marijeta (and her little boy Alex). We love outdoor activities and travel, although at the moment that mostly means walking to the lake to feed the ducks.
