Welcome to the sunny Mission District! Our neighborhood is packed with cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries. Spend the day walking around and sampling local flavor, or grab a blanket and spend an afternoon taking it all in at Dolores Park
It would be our pleasure to host you in our cozy studio centrally located in the heart of the bustling Mission Dolores neighborhood.
We live upstairs and keep this space for guests only. This studio has a private entrance through our home's garage and is located at the back of the building and away from street noise.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, down comforter, and includes linens. The bathroom is stocked with towels, soaps, and shampoo. The unit has fast wireless internet.
Our studio comes with a complete kitchen which features basic utensils, a stove, oven, and refrigerator. If you find yourself needing something, simply let us know and we'll bring it downstairs!
Located at the garden level, however, there is no garden access.
Interaction with Guests
The unit offers as much privacy as you'd like. We live upstairs and have lived here in the Mission for 9 years. We are happy to provide recommendations, cooking utensils, and tips for getting around the city. We are available via phone or text.
Our studio is located on a quiet side street in one of the best and liveliest locations in the city with many restaurants, cafes and shops just around the corner on Valencia Street.
A ten minute walk will get you to Dolores Park, Whole Foods, yoga studios, coffee shops and countless other restaurants, bars, music venues, and galleries.
If you tire of the Mission, you can reach the Castro by foot in 15 minutes. Hayes Valley and Lower Haight are about a 20 minute walk away. Bernal Heights, Noe Valley and Alamo Square are all within a lovely 30 minute stroll on foot.
We are 3 blocks from the 16th Street BART (train) station which enables easy and quick access to Downtown, Union Square, the Embarcadero, Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco International Airport.
We are one block from the 22 Fillmore Muni (bus) stop which will take you all over town! The J-Church Muni stop is a 5 minute walk from our house.
Street parking in our neighborhood is restricted to 2 hours during weekdays and is unlimited on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a public parking garage a few blocks away on Hoff street that our guests have used for about $25/day.
Other Things to Note
We live upstairs with our dogs. Although street noise isn't much of an issue, guests should be aware that they will hear footsteps overhead.

Lindsay and Nicole were incredible hosts! They were very accommodating when we arrived before the designated time. Lindsay was as sweet as can be when we needed to barrow something or had any questions. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone visiting San Fran. It is exactly what the photos show. The only issue with the condo is the noise from the home above.
We loved staying here. It was spacious, quiet and close to great restaurants and public transportation. It was also very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. Lindsay met us when we first arrived and was very friendly and accessible. We texted her when we couldn't find something we needed and she brought it right down. The entry can be a little dark especially if you're coming back at night, but it wasn't a problem and there are motion sensor lights in the garage to help out.
We stayed in the quiet mission studio for a couple of days when we were in town for a wedding. The location was fantastic (right by Valencia and the 16th&mission BART; but tucked out of the way on a quiet street), which made getting around town easy, and the studio was just what we needed! It was very clean and nicely decorated, comfy bed, and the filtered water and bathroom amenities were a nice touch when we got in. Lindsay was a pleasure to correspond with as we figured out check in times/key exchange, and we would definitely stay here again!
Great experience, the studio was clean, well kept, and the hosts were attentive and very responsive to any requests. I'd definitely stay there again!
This lovely Mission District studio apartment is exactly like in the photos! The space is a quiet, peaceful, and very clean refuge for the over-stimulated tourist visiting a high-energy city. Even though the entry is through a dark-ish garage (plenty of motion-sensor lights), once you enter the apartment it is full of light. Wonderful location with great neighborhood eateries and close to a San Francisco BART station for jetting into the city or other great destinations - even Berkeley.
I extremely recommend this place. I love this area, very nice and safe. It close to everything I like(Bi-rite, Tartine,Cream). There are plenty of bar and restaurant and just a block from Bart station.
From the beginning we felt comfortable that there would be no hiccups in accommodation (and there weren't) with Lindsay providing quick responses to our messages and Nicole in providing us a warm welcome with plenty of useful information.
We were greatful for the small things such as the chocolates, muesli bars and some basic toiletries which gave us time to collect ourselves rather than having to rush off for an emergency shopping trip for snacks and the shower and teeth essentials.
The area we were in gave us the chance to see what it was like in the bustling residential areas rather than the regular tourist spots. We were fortunate enough to stumble on some local favourites for food and drink and came back with some big smiles on our faces.
I would recommend the loft to any of my friends and recommend it to other fellow airbnb'ers.
Thanks Nicole and Lindsay for the great accommodation ! :)
Neither of us are native to San Francisco but we feel most at home here. Lindsay is an elementary teacher in the city, and Nicole works in photography. Both of us love spending our weekends walking our two dogs all over town, riding bikes, going to baseball games, and searching for new places to acquire delicious desserts and strong coffee.
