Hubby and I are retired military. We wanted peace and quiet so we moved to the middle of nowhere. Our farm is 100 acres of mostly wild and wooly. We harvest hay during the summer (if it's not raining!). We breed heritage poultry, have horses, goats, dogs, and an opinionated Potbelly pig named Sherman. I am also an author of 16 novels and make artisan cheeses. I like to stay busy, but farming doesn't pay all the bills so we decided to B&B our quaint old farmhouse on the property. Я говорю немного русский-- but still learning! As a full-time farmer I don't get to travel much, but I love to hear stories of your side of the globe. I'd love to host foreign travelers and get to see the world through your eyes.

During your stay
We're pretty easy-going here. If you want to be left alone, just say so. Otherwise, we're happy to interact and answer questions about our farm and food production. If you want to help with chores- cool! We love help! Just be prepared to get dirty. We do ask that one of us be present if you want to venture into the barnyard. The vast majority of our animals are quite friendly, but a few are not. So we want to make sure everyone has a fun, safe time when around the animals.
