The cabin is pet friendly, but there is a $65 pet fee that unfortunately Air BNB does not have a feature to add this, or the 10% occupancy tax from the county. Air BNB states that the host has to send a special offer to be able to collect these fees. Pasted below is Air BNB's tax answer.
What are my options to collect and pay occupancy tax?
As an Airbnb host, if you determine that you need to collect occupancy tax, you can collect Occupancy Taxes by either adding it within a Special Offer.
Adorable Lakeview Cabin, Pet Friendly, Gas Fireplace, Hot Tub
Location: Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe North Shore CA, Lake Tahoe California, California, USA
(Squaw Valley Resort 8 Mi Away, Alpine Meadows Resort 5 Mi)
Accommodations: Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 6)
This North Lake Tahoe lakeview and pet friendly cabin is located in the Talmont neighborhood in Tahoe City, along the Tahoe Rim Trail. This adorable cabin has recent updates with new hardwood flooring, a stone gas fireplace, with a built-in flat screen TV, recessed lighting, and a Hot Springs Spa with lake views surrounded by the mountains, complete with a lounger seat with messaging jets from your back down to your toes. Excellent therapy post a day at the slopes!
Near the cabin are wonderful cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and dog friendly trails along the rim, as well as a beautiful meadow in summer and winter (Paige Meadows). You can walk/hike, snowshoe, or drive to the trail head.
Down the hill from the cabin is the Tahoe Park Beach Homeowner's Association with BBQ grills, picnic tables, volleyball nets, and access to launch canoes and kayaks. In the spring and summer, the area has a beautifully manicured lawn with brilliant flora. Approximately 25 yards south of the homeowner's beach is Sunnyside Lodge where you can walk, swim, or boat to have amazing lakefront dining and /or cocktails at the lakefront bar. Sunnyside is also a lively spot in the winter for après skiing, with a cozy winter lodge atmosphere.
Approximately 2 miles from the cabin is the Fanny Bridge over the Truckee River, the only outlet from Lake Tahoe. This is also the entrance to Tahoe City, with quaint boutiques, homegrown coffee shops, historic landmarks, galleries, the Cobblestone Cinema, and the Commons Beach Amphitheater, which is just along Lake Tahoe's gorgeous shoreline. For the best cup of coffee and pastry Tahoe has to offer, stop by Tahoe House Bakery just before you get down to the Fanny Bridge.
A modern grocery and supply store is also just beyond the Fanny Bridge. A bike trail, a bike rental shop, a raft launch, a river rafting company, a ski shop, and several riverfront restaurants are also available adjacent to the Fanny Bridge. Locals launch and jump on their own rafts and cruise down the river until floating (or surging depending on the annual snow melt) into the River Ranch, a historic lodge on the banks of the Truckee River with beautiful river and mountain views, and just at the entrance to Alpine Meadows Resort.
Although there are many accessible ski areas, the closet ski areas to the cabin are Squaw Valley Resort (approximately 8 miles), Alpine Meadows and Homewood (approximately 5 miles in opposite directions), and Northstar (approximately 15 miles).
The North Shore is a perfect Tahoe destination, with an abundance of summer and winter activities, and endless scenic treasures! Enjoy!

PETS – Pets are permitted only with prior approval and 50.00 fee paid. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. If your pet joins you on the furniture, ensure you place a blanket underneath him/her. Any additional cleaning needed due to your pet beyond normal cleaning may incur additional fees.
All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that humans or pets may incur while on the premises.

CANCELLATIONS – A (60) ninety day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than (60) ninety days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. For this reason I highly recommend travel insurance, as does (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).
MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons. Additional small children may be considered. Additional unauthorized people discovered will cause a forfeit of deposit.
MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a 2-night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than 2 nights, the guest will be charged the two-night rate.
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are provided, maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate.
RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
PARKING – Parking is limited to 4 vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in the driveway only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
HOT TUB – No children under the age of 12 permitted in hot tubs at any time. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. A spa company drains, sanitizes, and refills and replenishes chemicals in the spa prior to your arrival. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. ALSO ENSURE THE CLIPS ARE RELEASED PRIOR TO LIFTING THE COVER TO PREVENT DAMAGE. They will break and you will be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, please leave the cover on so hot tub will stay warm and debris will stay out. (Please see additional instructions in the Tahoe Cabin Information)
FIREPLACE – The fireplace is a vented natural gas log fireplace controlled by a thermostat. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS TO WARM HANDS OR GLOVES, AS THE GLASS WILL BURN YOU AND MATERIALS WILL MELT INTO THE GLASS and cause damge.
WATER AND SEPTIC – The cabin is on city water. Please be kind and conserve.
BEAR PREVENTION – The Talmont area where the cabin is located has bear activity. Experts in the community strongly encourage electric bear fencing to teach the bears not to come back to the cabin, as once they have success and been rewarded, they return.
Within the Tahoe Cabin Information, please review the explanation of the system and the instructions for use. Please read these carefully. BE SURE NOT TO TOUCH THE WIRES WHILE THE SYSTEM IS ON. Again it is very safe but you will feel it if you touch them while it is on. See sample photo within the Tahoe Cabin Information. RED lights mean the system is ON. Please be sure to hook the wires up and turn the system ON when checking out.
STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. The neighborhood streets and the cabin's driveway are snowplowed; however, four wheel drive and/or chains are highly recommended during the snow months. There is no refund due to road conditions so please consider travel insurance for unpredictable weather conditions.
TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance.
The cabin is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The driveway is steep and can be icy in the winter, with caution necessary. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
I hereby give permission to charge my credit card for the payment request via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above. I have read my rights to purchase travel insurance.
