We call this apartment the Samuel Beckett after the famous Irish novelist and playwright.
A recently refurbished apartment suitable for up to 5 people. We provide all mod cons and every convenience. A fully equipped kitchen, wifi and parking if needed all included.
Bed linen, towels and a welcome pack are supplied.

Extremely convenient to Dublin City Centre with a bus just a minutes walk from the front door taking you to the doors of Trinity College in just 10 minutes. Other places to visit are Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, Jameson Distillery, Phoenix Park (this is a 10 minute walk away), Dublin Zoo, Botanic Gardens, James Joyce Centre, St. Stephens Green, Christchurch Cathedral, Conference Centre, Viking & Medieval Area and numerous galleries and museums.
The house is an old Victorian red bricked building and is full of character and charm. This apartment is situated at the back of the house and is quiet and tranquil so guests can relax in peace and quiet after a long day sightseeing.
There is a double bed and a single bed in the main bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The shower is large and has an electric power shower installed.
The other bed is a pull down sofa bed in the living area that sleeps 2 comfortably. The kitchen is large and spacious and has a dining area. The living area is very comfortable and has cable TV & DVD.
All of our guests remark on how easy it is to commute to Dublin city centre and beyond as there is an excellant bus service that runs right by the house that will take you all over Dublin and even beyond if required. There is also the light rail system "Luas" that is only a few minutes walk from the apartment also. For guests that hire a car there is on street parking that is free.
There is a major supermarket just a few minutes walk away with a bakery and a pharmacy.
There are several great restaurants in the neighborhood and all are within walking distance. There is also a pub nearby that provides nightly traditional music and is a great attractions for guests and locals alike.
We feel that our apartments provide a great getaway for people and we take pride in providing a clean, relaxing and luxurious surrounding for your hard earned holiday.

There is an excellant bus service that runs right by the house and is frequent and reliable.

Interaction with Guests
I manage to meet most guests on arrival but if I can't I nearly always get to meet them before they check out.
My caretaker lives on the premises and he helps to check in guests when I'm unavailable.
I'm always available by phone or email and am happy to assist guests in any way I can.
This street is a beautifully tree lined street which runs right up the the entrance of the Phoenix Park.
This park is the largest urban park in Europe and houses Dublin Zoo and the presidential home and offices as well as a children's playground. It is a wonderful park to visit and spans over 1750 acres.
The street also has beautiful Victorian red bricked houses all along it which date back to the 18th century so it really is a taste of old Dublin.
There is a major supermarket just 2 minutes walk as well as a pharmacy, bakery, coffee shops, bars, restuarants and many other amenities all within easy walking distance.
There are several bus routes right outside the house which will take you directly to the city centre.
Buses are regular and convenient.
We can also provide a taxi transfer from the airport if requested. We can also arrange a taxi for other excursions if desired.

The appartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a stay in Dublin. We particularly liked the DVD player for a quiet night in. There are local amenities and not too far into the City centre. Liam was very responsive with any query we had throughout our stay and was particularly flexible about the number of nights we wanted to stay. Would recommend.
This was a great apartment to stay at during our time in Dublin. The apartment comfortably fit 5 of us and the kitchen space was perfect. It's a little farther out from the city center, but there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and groceries stores near-by to get anything you may need. The bus stop is right there as well to bring you into the city. Also, the pick-up service from the airport was well worth it!
As this was my first experience using Airbnb, I was a little nervous about the whole process. However, Liam made it an amazing/easy/safe time. Unfortunately we did not get to meet him personally, however he had everything set up perfectly. He set us up with a ride from the airport to the apartment, when we landed in Dublin..and the driver had the keys for us. This was because we arrived very late in the evening..and it was very nice how flexible Liam was with the timing. The apartment was very clean, nice, and perfect for five people. The shower worked properly, the kitchen had all the utensils you could ever need, the wifi worked pretty well, there was a dish washer, washing machine, and a t.v. with lots of movies to watch. Whenever we had any questions I would shoot Liam an e-mail and he responded very quickly. He even let us check out late on Sunday because we were running behind schedule. The only downfall of the entire experience was that the apartment was a little bit further from the city center than we wanted...however if you don't mind walking 25 minutes, you should be fine. Or a cab ride split between four people is around 2 euro each. Overall, I am very pleased with our stay at this apartment and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Liam was wonderful!!
The flat was very clean and as described. The double bed and a single occupy the main room which houses the en suite. There is also a sofa bed. Liam was prompt and clear in his communications. The photos are slightly generous as to size, I think it would have been a squeeze to have 5 of us-especially sharing one bathroom.
My family and I had a wonderful time in Dublin! Liam arranged our transportation from the airport to the apartment for us and he was at the apartment to greet us when we arrived. Liam was very nice and helpful with the bus schedule, things to do, and places to eat! The bus stop was maybe a 5 minute walk and the local grocery store was right across the street from the bus stop. We would definitely stay at Liam's in the future if we make it back to Ireland!
Liam was great to contact before our stay. His apartment is in a central location and we enjoyed the local pubs and the relative ease of getting into the city. While not in the city centre the transport to the centre was easy to negotiate

About the Host, Liam
I grew up in the tourist business as my parents ran a hotel in Kildare so I have always wanted to get back into the hosptality industry. I have owned this house from the early '90's when I returned from New York where I had lived for a number of years. I have been in the buidling trade for the last 20 years so I thought I would combine the two and refurbish the house and provide rental accommodation in an extremely convenient locations to tourists.
