New, custom-built home completed in Fall 2018, "Mountain Millhouse" is the perfect secluded base camp to experience the Colorado Rockies. Located at 10,000 feet high in beautiful Fairplay, CO. Hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and white water rafting are all within 30 minutes. Comfortably sleeps 6. New hot tub and propane fire pit!

Nestled on two wooded acres, this retreat provides pristine privacy with tranquil forest or mountain peak views from every window.

The centerpiece of this "modern mountain' design, is a soaring two-story stone fireplace reaching to stunning vaulted pine ceilings. The high efficiency fireplace includes plenty of firewood for cozy gatherings or romantic nights.

Professionally decorated by interior designers from Havenly, this home features high end furnishings from TOV, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, RH and others.

Chefs will swoon over the gourmet kitchen with all the bells and whistles you'll need including all-new Whirlpool appliances, gas range, KitchenAid mixer, Ninja blender/food processor, Keurig coffee maker, and a Weber propane grill on back deck.

Smart home enabled via in-home tablet, with 2G wifi, DISH High-Def TV in Loft, Sonos sound system, Google Home assistant, three zone radiant floor heat Nest thermostats, and external Ring flood/cam security.

A first floor master king suite, 2nd floor queen bedroom and third bedroom with a queen over queen bunk bed all feature Tomorrow's Sleep premium hybrid mattresses, extra pillows and blankets and 500 thread count sheets for remarkably comfortable sleep.

Both bathrooms enjoy radiant floor heating, floor to ceiling glass showers with luxury rain shower heads and hand wand, hair dryers and lighted make-up mirrors.

Becoming an Airbnb host feels like a natural fit for me as I was raised in the South where hospitality was a part of my upbringing. I also spent several years as a corporate concierge where I refined my skills in assisting others in creating memorable experiences. I'm a mom of 3 amazing adult sons. I Grew up in Louisiana and I am now living in Colorado with my husband Bruce and Portuguese Water dog Matilda (Tilly). I enjoy hiking and exploring the Colorado Rockies! I love spending time with family, cooking, reading historical fictions and my bible. I can't live without my coffee and love vacationing with my husband in Kauai. I am very blessed and thankful for my husband, three sons, three beautiful daughters-in-law and three precious grandchildren!
