In the heart of Rome, a few steps from Piazza Navona and its beautiful fountains, you will find this quaint loft!
The apartment is located on the top floor of a 1600 building, designed by a famous Italian architect of the time and does not have a lift just to maintain the original structure. The loft is bright, has a ceiling and wood walls and terracotta floor.
The building is surrounded by pedestrian streets, where there are great restaurants, bars with free internet, specialty shops, antique shops and craft boutiques. E ', in fact, the ideal place to experience the city of Rome on foot! The Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain are so close that you will not need to take taxi or bus.
Rome is eternal .... and there is no better location in order to live every little corner!

Carmen's place was exactly as advertised. It's a football field away from piazza navona, and that was an easy landmark to locate within the city so we were never lost. The only issue was the water pressure in the shower , it could have been higher. Other than that, Carmen was a great host.
Merci Carmen! Hasta pronto!
We had a very nice stay in Carmen's apartment! It is cosy, very well decorated, and made us feel like home. It is ideally placed in the old town, 10 min walk to many great places to see (Piazza navona, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, etc..). The apartment has all the necessary equipment for a long weekend, and has even air conditioning.
Perfect place for a young couple to discover Rome for a few days. We highly recommend it!
Amazing location quiet at night and a great local night life. Warm and friendly greeting on arrival. Pictures were exactly the same as the apartment.
super gelegen, alles notwendige da, alles gut geklappt.
Carmens apartment is great! It has the perfect size for two people, it has a small kitchen with everything you need, and what is more important, it is really central.
We walked around all day as you can easily reach everything by foot, only a few minutes to the Campo de' Fiori or the Pantheon, 20 minutes to Trastevere, if you want to go there in the evenings, and also about 20 to the Spanish steps - we even walked to the Park of the Villa Borghese. And in our opinion, walking is the best way to get to know Rome anyways!
The apartment itself is on the top floor and you can only reach it via the stairway, but for us, that was no problem.
Also, Carmen is a great and very kind host, and she always replied really fast whenever there was a question, both before and during our stay.
We can warmly recommend this apartment and we'd be happy to book it again whenever we return to Rome!
Wonderful apartment in a perfect location. My GF and I had a wonderful stay and Carmen was highly responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
Location, location, location ...
Carmen's place is not the prettiest nor the roomiest but it was like advertised : a nice and clean place to start and end your visit days in Rome. The AC was efficient and that helped us sleep very well. Oh, and the shower is very hot, if you like it that way.
The apartment is located on a very romantic small street, near piazza navona, across a very nice restaurant (that happens to be well reviewed by other tourists on trip advisor also). There is 3-4 caffes nearby to start your day on the right foot. There is a very good gelato place on the way to Piazza Navona. We found a grocery between the Pantheon and the Fontana di trevi. There might be another one closer but we did not know the area very well.
As tourists, we were at a walking distance from the Castel Sant-Angelo (5-8 mins), San Pietro and The Vatican (12-15-17 mins), The Pantheon area (7-10 mins ) , the Foro Romano and Collosseo (20-30 mins, hard to tell, cause you'll stop along the way for sure).
Before listing some drawbacks, I'd like to say that we knew about them and we did not mind because these are minor points compared to the location and the fact that we knew we'd spend only mornings at the place.
The apartment is a bit dark, so it could be difficult to read for a long time. Also, it is really a studio, so don't expect something with a separate kitchen and living room. The bed is really soft and could be firmer but that may be a question of personal opinion. And it is on the fifth floor, but we did not mind at all.
There was not one night where we came back to the studio before 11PM so we did not mind these drawbacks, We really appreciated that there was no noise in the building or on the streets. The mornings were quiet and we were not disturbed by any neighbor. There is equipment to have a small breakfast.
Overall, if you're in town to visit Rome, the location and restaurants nearby make Carmen's place a very nice spot to start and end your days. On the other hand, if you're looking more for a place to relax and spend a lot of time in the apartment, you might want to look for something bigger and better equipped.
