This pleasant and well equipped apartment is located in the very centre of Antibes. You can walk to the beach, the harbour, old town and train or bus station in minutes.

The Space

Charming (spacious with high ceilings) 2 rooms confortably furnished downtown Antibes, in the heart of the french riviera; we name it "Lo Nis" which means "the nest" in provençal language).
Shops, restaurants, museums and entertainment, old town, the beach, harbor and public transport are easily accessible within short walking distances. This location is perfect in any season for your holidays, leisure or work. (access to Sophia-Antipolis, Grasse, Cannes, Nice, Monaco ... direct by rail or bus).
The apartment has a bedroom with two joining single beds and full complement of storage space, a lounge / living room with TV stand / Digiskybox, DVD player, table and chairs, and a couch usable as bed for two people.
The shower room with a window, is equipped with a sink, a toilet and a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped (oven and microwave , ceramic hob, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, cooking utensils and cutlery ...).
The floor is tiled with provence typical old red tiles.
WIFI Internet access and phone are included.
The apartment is located on the second floor without lift in a typical building: it is therefore not recommended for people with disabilities.
Antibes is pleasant throughout the year by an exceptional climate and animations and ongoing activities, many of which are led by the activities of yachting. (Antibes is famous for the billionaire wharf where the rich moor their yachts - yachts show in april), but also with his Provencal market, museums or other places to visit.
Cannes and his famous film festival in may is 15mn by train, Grasse 45mn: Grasse is the centre of the French perfume industry and is known as the world's perfume capital.
Of course in the summer (and often in spring and autumn) you can enjoy the sea, sandy beaches, water activities, diving, sailing...
Documentation within the apartement informs you on available entertainment and public transportation.
You will have a good time, whatever the reason of your stay and time of year when you come.

No additional costs: linen and towels (including beach towel) are provided, charges and taxes, as well as WIFI and telephone (including calls to landlines in major countries) are included in the quoted price.

  • The apartment was exactly as we expected. Plenty big enough for the two of us, well equipped, good shower and very clean. We chose it because it was a traditional type of accomodation and knew it was on the second floor accessed by a staircase with no lift and that was ok for us. Alain met us on our arrival and had brought milk, coffee and some fruit that was a nice suprise. He was very helpful and I felt we could contact him in the event of any problems but luckily none arose. Location was perfect with access to town, beach, train and bus all within easy walking distance. A good experience - we would consider staying there again.

  • Very hospitable host couple. Apartment comfortably and thoughtfully furnished with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Great location - close to the station and the old town. Loved the local cafe across the street.

  • I cannot say too many good things about this apartment! I stayed there for 3 months while studying French in Antibes. As soon as I arrived, "Lo Nis" (The Nest) felt like home. Alain was there to acquaint me with the apartment, the great coffee machine, etc. and to answer any questions I had about Antibes. The apartment is cozy, very clean, well furnished, and quite comfortable. Alain even left a bottle of wine in the fridge for me and some fruit on the table. I highly recommend this cozy apartment if you are staying in Antibes!

  • My wife and I rented Alain's place for a month from mid-August to Mid-September and had a fantastic time visiting museums, art galleries and famous places from Cannes to Menton. (Travel was cheap as we had a monthly bus pass covering the whole département.) I agree with the other reviewers who have highly praised the apartment and cited its excellent location near the station, buses, shops, restaurants, marina, and so on. One thing that they failed to mention was the high ceilings which made it a very relaxing 'home' to come back to and unwind in the evenings. Noise, such as that from rubbish collection in the mornings, could be a problem for some, but one can always shut it out by closing the windows. By the way, Antibes itself is a great place to stay, having the advantages of being a proper town without being too big and oppressive.

  • We just got back from 2 weeks inAntibes with our two smaal children en really enjoyed our stay with Alain! The only downside are the streetnoises during the night, but for the rest it was a great summer holiday!

  • Fully equipped apartment, with everything you need in perfect condition, and - very very clean too!

we came by car and recommend parking in the brand new underground parking garage around the block at blvd. dugommier.

the appartment is very central, walking distance to the beach, center of old antibes and picasso museum. normal city sounds at night.

thanks alain for welcoming us with a much needed cooled orange juice, fresh fruit and wine when we arrived on a hot summer day.

  • My wife and I stayed in Antibes at Alians perfect little apartment for a week and couldn't have been happier! Alain and his wife meet us at the apartment which was only 5 min walk from the train station to show us around the place and some local maps. They were great hosts and very friendly helping us with our luggage up a few flights of stairs. A welcome basket of fruit, cookies and wine were also waiting for us when we arrived.

The area is fantastic and a great spot to explore much of the French Riviera. We relaxed in Antibes on the beach a few days and almost always ate dinner at " L'Annexe". WOW! The salads here alone are out of this world for the price.

Can't wait to go back and stay in this great gem!

  • Alain and his wife were absolutely amazing hosts! They were very generous and provided assistance whenever it was needed. They explained the transportation systems to us when we arrived and recommended what beaches to go to. They left us maps and fresh fruit, too! I would completely recommend staying in this apartment as it was a wonderful experience for me!
