Draguignan is a great base for exploring this region of Provence, with its numerous vineyards, historic villages and scenic drives, and yet it's not touristy. Monique' place is well located, central and very comfortable, with a lovely garden. Monique is a very warm and friendly host. She gave us great tips for visiting the hidden gems of the region and was exceptionally welcoming to our two year old daughter.

I was staying for 3 nights at Monique's house and I enjoyed it very much. Draguignan is nicely located between the Cote d'Azur and the Georges du Verdon (both about an hour by car), so the locations provides you with all the options. Monique's house is nicely decorated and has a huge garden that you can use if you want and where Monique serves a great breakfast every morning. The room is big, has confy beds and it's own bathroom, everything very comfortable and clean. Monique is a sweet and very caring host, takes a lot of time explaining when you do your trip planning. And she is a real local who can tell you nice stories about real french life. In case you love good olive oil: nearby there is a very nice cooperative that sells excellent oil via direct sale ("Moulin a huile de la Combette" in Flayosc). Highly recommended!

Monique made us very welcome upon our arrival showing us around the house and into our room. The room was true to photos, beautifully furnished with an ensuite bathroom. She made us some afternoon tea and, despite little English/ French we were able to communicate really well. The property was delightful with a large garden and porch area to sit outside during the evenings. Monique and her son gave us lots of touring hints which were so helpful. Draguignan was central to visits to Grasse and the hills around there, St Tropez and the Riviera and the wine- growing area.

Our first stop after landing in South of France was at Mounique's place, and she couldn't have left a better impression about how our trip is going to be like...the sweetest, warmest pure person you can imagine. She made us feel right at home, shared beautiful stories along with her son, completely respected our privacy and offered us the perfect experience one would wish for. The room was and entire house were spotless clean. Yumy breakfast on the terrace overlooking her gorgeous garden. Extremely peaceful and serene place. Absolutely adore it. She also has 2 lovely cats and a cute little dog (tea boy) :) Don't even bother looking anywhere else, consider yourself lucky to be her guest :) Thanks Monique for everything! Bizous
